This might sound harsh but, charity begins at home.
We don't have to give because someone asks , we need to give when the people in our lives need help , not aid a stranger asking for money.

So...I got duped today!
by lovelylil ini am one of those people who always gives money to those who ask me on the street.
the reason is because there was a time when i was a kid that my siblings and i needed to beg on the street for food money because mom and dad were both addicts.. anyway, i was on my way into walmart and a lady stopped me and asked if i could give her a few dollars ($5 to be exact) so that she could pick up a prescription for some medicine.
she explained that she and her kids have been sick with bronchitis and although the kids were better she was not and had run out of money until her check came on the first of the month.. i can also sympethize with having to wait for government checks to buy what you need having grown up on state welfare programs and i reasoned that $5 is nothing for me and my husband because combined we bring in over six figures a year income.

At what age do you consider a person "Old" ?
by JH innow that i'm in my late 40's, old means about 80 years old.... i'm still young at 47, i think .

I've done too many reprehensible things to put them down here and some of them are things I would rather not put out in public
Saying that ,I will say that coming to terms with ones humanity entails much more than airing out the dirty laundry for all to see.
after that making peace with ourselves and forgiving our humaness we can actually become pretty freakin good people that like to get up in the morning ( eventually get up in the morning happy)

I hate to use the word God
It makes me shift in my seat as I visualize people rolling the eyes in thier head and rubbing thier face until the lecture is over.
It is not a good term
We are the exact opposite of the realm of force that all reality is composed of , we can't touch or see or taste it or conceptualize it nor possess it or remember it if we experience it.
It exists as surely as we exist , to beliieve that this existence is all there is not feasable in comparison to the scope of all that is
If our meager sense of self as this egoic construct of mind/body comes to an end all the better , but the energy that causes life to be is what we really are not this concept of self that vanishes every moment we focus on some external matter , we are not a group of memorys and likes and dislikes and opinions and beliefs, we are the thing that experiences all of those things
So believe or not believe is very unimportant , discovering the inner essence of what we are is the task each true human being is given , it is our birthright and our reward, it is the reason
We all are part of LIFE in the broadest sense , life like the trees like all the other living things that form the LIFE on this planet, life in its most fundemental form, the being alive, the existing at the same time in the same place as part of the same thing kind of life
When we forget this and dwell on our little bit we are experiencing, we are just deluding ourselves into believing we are something seperate
Fear of extinction is all we are born with, it is our purpose to overcome this and silence the fear and face reality

I'm afraid we are meant to suffer. It is the tool to bring us awake . It is unpleasent so we do not desire this existence and we begin to seek the meaning in a way that brings a real understanding and not accept the world as it is . It's a perfect design

This need to know arises when the answer can be abtained . The suffering in this world is meant to raise just this sensation , this need to understand why we suffer, this drive, this desire is a manifestation of our ego to understand our source and our conection to it
God is a limiting term and the God we are taught as real is just a myth
The conection to source can be experienced and is meant to be experienced . it is meant to be proven by each individual in way that can be experienced by the individual
The universe consists of two forces giving and recieving , negative and positive , we are a manifestation of these two forces
All of creation exists as an intent between these two forces , this is visible either quantatively as in the make up of energy in molecules or qualitively as in the composition of the particles in the molecules
The creative force "giving" caused the created object "taking" to be ,and in all permutations of matter since the original event can be seen this effect
The story we tell about this is irrelevent. It is what it is and it is wonderful and profound and we can sense it when the time is right and we allow our intent to become alligned with the "giving " aspect of reality
A physist will tell you that all subatomic particles are actually just comprised of "intent" it's scientific fact So when your "intent" is in harmony with either force present you will become more aware of it.
