  Kite Flying

  so last night me and my man decided to go test drive our new kite, we bought it as a joke from a toy shop at the weekend, not thinking we would ever actually go try it out, but a friend said how lovely weather was and how it was perfect for kite flying, so after work off we went!

  and can i just say.....it was sooo much fun!!

  you wouldnt believe.

  When Elders go too Far...

  this is just something that really peed me off regarding the elders, is how low they are sinking to get gossip and stuff now, i was in contact with a well trusted friend of mine who used to attend meetings up until 2 years ago, his wife is still in the jw org, he was having a joke around on some text messages with me regarding my man saying "try before you buy" and so on, which i found amusing....lets just say his wife didnt...she snooped on his phone, wrote out the texts he had sent me and gave the transcript to the elders, and now he has to go before a judicial commitee.

  how wrong is that, for a start its an invasion of privacy!

  i was fuming yesterday when i found out.

  LOL, that is the song i was singing to my man as we walked along the field. He found it highly amusing, not sure because i was singing while walking past a rugby pitch full of rugby players, or the fact that i just cant sing in tune hehe.

  When Elders go too Far...

  He has already been through it all with elders, they know he wont change, but yet wotn leave him alone till he does, and now hes showing signs of becoming even more "worldly" they are wanting to df him b4 he "contaminates" cong even more, by encouraging other people to disobey rules. Hes not a bad person at all, hes never hurt a fly! He said he wont attend the JC but i have a feeling his wife will twist his arm..

  First Christmas...Help!

  ok so this will be the first xmas i have ever celbrated, i have no idea what to do, my man and his family are really into it and have traditions they have always kept to, and i love my new family and being involved in it all, but i havent a clue where to start!

  who to buy what for, how much do i spend?

  what cards do i buy?

  Because I never celebrated before I became an adult. I got to makeup tradtions as we've went along...and pass them on to my children and now grandchildren. It's even a family joke about things being "old family traditions"...even though we've only done it a few years.

  Im sooo looking forward to that myself! I decided our tree would have a silver and green theme this year, but my man already saying most of his original ornaments are not silver or green, lol. Hes so Stingy, my first xmas and he wont buy me new baubles lol. Oh well looks like its gonna be my job to buy them hehe. And his original/traditional ones can go on too, is only fair, as i dont have any original ones to contribute!

You wouldnt believe. We had such a laugh, especially when my man ran up a hill with the kite behind him in the air (there wasnt enough wind apparently )

  But i would certainly recommend it, its not an expensive sport to do, unless you go pro, but then any sport is expensive when you go pro! Its quite relaxing, apart from when you have to run backwards to get the kite to stay up in the air ( watch out for ditches, ya need eyes in the back fo your head!)

  I guess I am still confused... you say he is 'gay'. When did he (and you) come to this realization? _after_ he poked his wife and got her pregnant - for the fifth time? (If I read correctly - he and his wife have 4 children - and she is again pregnant.)
  
  I suppose I am not sure of the definition of 'gay'. Effiminate, perhaps. I knew a fella who wah effiminate... he was married - and was having relations with his wife. He was just... well... not gay. He was also a fashion designer for local galas.

  Also - seems that THAT would be more of a 'sticking' point with the local elders than his texting you.

  He is GAY, as in has affection for men, prefers to think about having sex with men, he only had sex wth his wife bcoz he got blind drunk n so did his wife! he came into the religion to try and Un-gay himself. he didnt tell his wife has was gay until 2 years ago. He thought by getting married and having kids it would make him "normal". But thats not the point, his gayness isnt the point, the point is the elders will sink to any degree to get info on people. They know he is gay, but they didnt disfellowship him because he hadnt commited any gross sin, but this time he has to attend a JDComittee because they say he has encouraged me to have sex before marriage, by that one text message which was a joke!

  If a believer prays for something, and it happens, god answered their prayer. If they pray for something and it doesn't happen, god is testing them, they didn't have enough faith, or the best thing to happen was for the person not to get the thing prayed for in the first place, they just didn't know that, but god in his infinite wisdom, did.

  This is so true, in the case of my brother buying a house, At first it fell through, second time they got it, why? Because it was close to the kingdom hall and god wanted them to be nearer.

  Riiiiiiggghhhhtttt ookkkkaaaayyyy.....Nothing to do with the fact they had money?
