  i've just received the latest digest from the yahoo groups 'jwtalks' there is a post in it by the person who runs it.

  i've heard some bizarre reasoning in my time, but honestly i think this one takes the cake.

  i don't know why i am always led back to jw's.

  Don't be afraid. The Bible says that no one knows when the end is coming. And WT history proves they don't know either. Don't be afraid of what men say. Read, read and read a lot, you will discover that we are living in better times now than our predecesors.

  hi everyone,been looking for some time,decided to register and give a little contribution.everything helps.in the wbts for 15 years,never bought everything ,some things just never clicked,i was "waiting on jehovah"but eventually things just went worst(or better)and stop attending meetings a year ago.my 3 kids (never baptised)could no be happier,wife still going once a week average,but things changed for her too.we're still in good standing,but i'm thinking of da myself,our familyes are all catholic,so no problem with the shunning thing for us.and for the friends in the truth(friends,yeah right)whatever........

  I haven't gone anywhere. I am still out of the box and never coming back to be a JW again. I am still an elder :-( I just have been busy you guys :-) but a lot have happened. Still trying to save some minds from the cult. I'll promise I'll let you know more soon. I read JWD almost every day. So, I am still here alive and kicking. Thanks for asking. I really appreciate it.

  The GB is just little people afraid of free words like: Think, Education and Entertainment. They love control words like: Organization, Obey and Pay attention. I have learned more about the Bible in the last year than during my 30+ years in the JW Organization and I missed almost no meeting or Assembly. What is the JW Organization? Control. I am so sorry some of us have to go to those S.A.D. meetings.

  What positive aspects do you find about being a JW in the past?

  i try to focus in the few positive aspects of being a jw, and how that can help me to improve myself.

  i like to help people too, and that is something that i really enjoy.

  AD, Less than a month!!! Wow! Now that is speed reading. I also met my wife as a JW and we have a beautiful marriage. I also learn to talk in public and have interest in the Bible. But, I guess people from some other religions can say the same. Maybe?
