as many of you know, i'm still inside the borg, but my mind is completely disconnected.
i had a chat with some friends during the week, and they started sharing experiences they had, dealing with demons in the past.. i heard some stories from brothers from cuba, that used to be mediums or "saints", and how the demons "immediately started to attack them when they started learning the truth(tm)".
Every brother and sister has a story about demons possession. The more hilarious I ever heard is the one about a soda cracker's package flying in the room full of brothers. Of course, the reason was that some spiritist gave that cracker package to some poor brother.

the watchtower brought suit in puerto rico claiming that the controlled access law is the reason their growth rate has stalled.

i have not see this on here, but my dad is friends with kelly clarkson's aunt.
she is a jw in the area and evidently very close to kelly.
kelly invited her aunt to the american idol finale with her mom and dad, and they even interviewed her aunt on the local news.
Her aunt went to see American IDOL!???
Idolatry is a disfellowshiping felony! And maybe she was watching soap operas and toasting at the same time.

i can't wait to tell you something that happened last night.
in order to understarnd it, let me give you some details about me first: i'm still an elder, with my wife and the whole family and friends inside the borg.
That's amazing news :)
That gives me hope that it is possible to help our family if we just stay inside for a little bit more. Some day the rest of my family (I hope) will wake up too.
And ttrp, that is good advice you give here: Give them the info, little by little. Don't make them upset giving too much information at a time. That's a mistake I need to fix now.

with all the topics about god and whether he loves us or not....why he was such a meanie in the ot......his habit of flip-flopping from loving to raging to loving again....made me think:.
if the bible god is real, maybe he, too, is evolving spiritually.
maybe when he created us, he thought in "black and white" concepts: i set the rules...you obey them....if you do, i'll be nice and reward you....if you don't, i'll punish the hell out of you (including but not limited to death by stoning).
That's an interesting point you bring on journey-on. It got me thinking...
