  afternoon all,.

  a bit on my background.

  i studied with the jw's a while ago in my teens, was acitve in meetings, and all the other things good witnesses do.

  My understanding as a former elder is as long as you are a NPG (non-practicing gay) you can be a JW however, you would never be able to be an elder, a ministerial servant, or a pioneer. And you would NEVER be able to practice your sexuality.

  As in our whole society, many are more tolerent of Homosexual's as long as they don't live in our backyard, the witnesses are much like the world they will tolerate you as long as you don't act too gay.

  Good luck with your endevours and remember you will be disfellowshipped if you do have a homosexual affair

  Bill Maher Quip on "Real Time"

  regarding the "stand your ground" law, bill maher joked that if the law was on the books in his state (california, i believe), his front lawn would be littered with jehovah's witnesses.

  Funny, I love Bill he is not afraid to tell it like it is in all catagories. I don't know how much he know's about Jehovah's Witnesses. They would even be more of a pain if he only knew how wierd they really are.

  Based on the maturity level of teenagers I've observed who are in, or were raised in the bORG these types of illistrations fit the general demographic of the JW youth from 16-21. Just my thoughts

  Question for elders about MEMORIAL EMBLEMS...

  what is done with the bread and the wine after the conclusion of the memorial?.

  is it normally tossed in the trash and poured down the drain?.

  if so, wouldn't that be simbolic of throwing jesus' body in the trash and pouring his blood into the sewer?.

  i saw this quote from stephen hawking today.

  "i think computer viruses should count as life ... i think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive.

  we've created life in our own image.".

  Are we destructive because we were created in God's image?

  Or are we just destructive so the God we created (the many forms of God we created) are also destructive.

  I wouldn't admit to not liking beer especially being Canadian. It's OK here because your anonymous. But if anyone found out there could be persecution.

  And if you brought a man a beer today you are an angel unless your a waitress and you had to do it.

  I confess it was me. I did it in one of my past lives it was a long time ago, I was living in a cave and I was known as oogly-ook. I made God up and it just took off from there.

  Oh and I also created music and in that life I was known as oogly toot. Any way I was sitting in my cave eating some kind of gaseous plant and when I stood a strange group of noises came out of my ass. I christened it the first song.

  I created some other things also in my past lives like beer (that's when I lived in Egypt)

  Sorry for all the trouble I caused, I never thought the concept would take off like it did. It sure screwed things up I guess; because I'm thining if I hadn't created God then we wouldn't have Jesus, Satan, demons angels all that other colateral creation that happened.

  But I am glad I created music and beer. By the way, don't they go good together?

  how have the numbers of the anointed been doing - staying steady or finally declining?

  that was always a puzzle to me how that could stay so steady..

  Watchtower tries to explain away the unexpected increase by saying some of them may be 'emotionally imbalanced.'

  I would have to agree with the Watchtower's statement above with one change, they are all 'emotionally imbalanced'

  Sab, if your reasoning is true, that means that now what is going on is,

  God's or "I am"'s many personna's are fighting against eachother. How does this make sense in your reasonings?
