  whenever i here that name, maybe in conversation with someone who doesnt know my past, i feel anger welling up instantly inside me.. if there were a jw in sight, i think i could give him a jolly good shaking.. just hearing that name does things to me.. jesus = love.

  jehovah = hate, selfishness, divisiveness, and domineering manipulation.. so much for jdubs "honoring " his name.

  he's sure got a bad reputation based on how they live their lives..

  That's funny because I want to feel like (big mac) "it doesn't mean anything different to him then mickey mouse or batman" but it does give me a tad bit of upset so I try to stay away from anything about it.

  It really bugs me when my granddaughter says it, which is rare. She's 5 and a half.

  that's right, and it's great!

  i don't know exactly why because he hasn't turned apostate and still seems to believe jw things.

  i don't feel comfortable in asking him why he doesn't go to meetings anymore for some reason, or find out what he believes and if the things i've told him bout ttatt influenced his decision.

  Your right in not saying anything to him because it might make him pull back and start up again.

  Many suffer from guilt when they stop going and bringing it up may increase his guilt and make him start going again

  so yesterday afternoon, an elder who lives only 3 blocks away drives up to my house as i was about to enter my car.

  as he gets out of his car, i noticed he had a stack of photocopied paper in his hand and he seemed quite nervous.

  i was genuinely happy to see him nonetheless since he is pretty easygoing and very likeable.

  It's simple,

  elder 1 even though he probably thinks your a loser, came to visit you because it could have possibly given him some material gain. He may have had a few things left that he thought you may have bought.

  elder 2 however would have recieved nothing from your HELLO. elder 2 is also an ignorant selfish ass hole who would push you under the bus if it benefitted him.
