Advise Needed : Should I stay should I go ?
by raymond frantz ina year ago i started looking heavily into "apostate" websites ,now after a year i'm convinced that i have been lied to and kept in the dark for so long .i hate going to the meetings having to cope with these disgusting watchtower articles .unfortunatelly my family are still in wife and kids and i have raised them to be good witnesses .i feel betrayed by the watchtower and i'm sure if it wasn't for these evil men in brooklyn 99% of all witnesses that wake up would not have an issue changing all the wrong doctrines .these satanic men who dare call themselves "anointed " have spend almost 40 years, especially since they changed the baptismal vows and after raymond franz's exit ,creating a "prison of the mind" ,if anyone wants to leave they have to kiss goodbye friends ,family and start all over again .what shall i do stay in and try to work against them or leave?
any advice will be appreciated.

if you can stomach the meetings and you can go out in field service without feeling hypocritical and you feel you can help your family to escape. Then do it.
If doing this upsets you so much it effects your mental health then don't stay in it.
Do what's best for you so that you can help your family.

Was the Christ invisibly present in 1914?
by wannabe inwas jesus invisibly present in 1914?.
at this point, some may ask, what exactly are, the appointed times of the nations?
notice from the words of jesus, this trampling first began at the murder of abel by his brother cain, who was the, 'seed of satan the devil.

Was the Christ invisibly present in 1914?
I don't know, I wasn't around in 1914, I've only been here since 46 and I haven't seen Christ anywhere if he's present I sure wouldn't know.

Long time Lurker, ready to join in...
by Blackbird Singing inhi all, i'm a long time lurker, ready to join in and add my two cents worth now and then!
i was in the religion for 25 years, out now for 8, along with my husband, daughter, and son!
i would have to say pretty much the whole time i was in i didnt want to be, pretty much "dreaded" all aspects of it, meetings, service, assemblies, and talks, i hated talks, man o man would i be grouchy the whole week i had a scheduled talk.. we didnt have much family in, but lots of friends and many jw employees, pretty much lost all that, down to just one jw employee left(thats a good thing).

Self Abuse.
I don't like that name because it make's masturbation sound wicked and even criminal.
It's just another way of guilt tripping the R&F

I'm kinda thinkin that all of the fraction crap the bORG has put into the rules is getting many of the R&F confused.
Especially if they are under duress as this young woman was. The fact that the hospital got direct instructions from the woman telling them she would only take platelets and plasma raises a flag. She probably thought those two componants were considered to be fractions.
I also believe the hospital was correct in taking the stand it did

My first own thread on here. Woken up and still in :(
by Gefangene ini have been around in this forum a lot but haven't written much yet.. also i had a more or less rude awakening when i realized that the religion i grew up with, the religion i sacrificed a lot for and considered to be the 'truth' is nothing but mere bs.
it's quite a brick to digest.. my parents both are jws, elder and pioneer.
very good people but also very brainwashed.

Welcome, I look forward to your insights on meetings, CA's, SA's and DA's. I hope you share your observations on attitudes of those you meet who are still in the Org.
