  i was in the service today (i know, i know... i know!)...

  ... and i was thinking, the problem here is the current spiritual points system we have in place.

  How about points for just being kind & caring, doing nice things for poor and needy people and the lonely and depressed.

  I think you're confusing this with another organization.

  How about these

  • 1 point for using your own car in the field misery.
  • 1 point for walking away from a door and saying "goat" since this will simplify the job of the executioner later.
  • 1 point for saying to your brother/sister "We missed you at the last meeting" and not really meaning it.

  Material will now be 100% outline and 0% independent research and entertaining anecdotes. So much better. Only way to improve it would be to go to manuscripts on the sunday talks like the DC parts. OR even pre-recorded talks distributed on CDs with the local elder just going up to the platform to do the gestures.

  No! Only when we're around. Even if they agreed to not discuss anything relgious - they would be lying. I'm 100% certain of that. They've lied to me about conversations with my kids in the next room that I've overheard.

  I've heard of trees that are over 5000 years old. These would have been growing 1000 years BEFORE the flood (when Adam was on his last legs). Did these trees survive under water for a year?

  Whats the weirdest case that was handled in your congro??

  we had one were a guy screwed his dog.. a guy got his step daughter pregnant and ran off with her, his wife committed sue-aside , in our country you can't marry your step children if you are the course of the brake up however apparently its not against scriptural law so the congregation gave them a marriage.. we had 4 sisters pregnant in the congro (all married) this bro of questionable mental health confessed to the elders to being father of them all.. .

  We moved into a new congregaton and an older lady invited us over for a meal at her house. We went. She was in her mid-late 60s and living with her mother (80s). The house was nasty, but we got thru dinner.

  The elders later warned us we might not want to associate with the two of them. Because as well as being mother and daughter, they were also in a "sexual" relationship with each other. GROSS!!!!

  My wife and I were sharing a house with two 19 year old "sisters". We had the bottom floor and they had the top. There were men coming and going ALL night long. They had a prositution service going in our house. Also smoking pot.
