  That much!!!!!! I did not know!!! I knew it was intense but WOW! I know she isn't attending all this because she works full time, and is a massage therapist also. (I saw that thread) What can they possibly spend that much time on? Jeez...

  Thanks Gopher. She's better today. Over the last few months she has said things that are pretty out of the ordinary. She's told me on more than one occasion that she hasn't been to a meeting or bookstudy or whatever they are called in a couple weeks. Do most JW's do this every once in a while? I know my inlaws would dare do this, but I'm beginning to wonder about her. She moved out on her own about a year ago and has encountered different friends and has even posted on my friends website when it's someone's birthday. She won't wish them happy birthday but she'll say " oooo your one year older!, or Your a big boy now.

  i have a couple who have been my friends for years, i studied with them and they became witnoids.

  he is now and ms and was conducting a book study in a home last night.

  Amazing,

  Okay, see, I don't understand. They would allow that person to surgically change themselves to be accepted, but can not allow gays to join because unto them homosexuality is wrong right? Unto God, that person even though surgically changed would still be a man right? I just don't get this mentality. What God would judge like this?!

  My nan's Funeral

  was yesterday.

  it went reasonably ok, i didnt make any effort to speak to my parents instead i went and chatted to other family members i havnt seen in years.

  i also had hubby's mum and dad there too for support.

  I went to a friends funeral and my mother in law pointed out that to their funerals i didn't have to wear black. I could wear normal clothes. Gee thanks mom...

  WHAT WAS THE BEST EXPLAINATION DISHED TO YOU?

  when you had questions about jw teachings - what was the craziest reason / answer you received?.

  when we "studied" the revelation book (is it still used ) i asked my bookstudy conductor what he thought about the interpretations that pointed to conventions (early 1920s -getting a bit hazy on details thankfully) ..... he said ".... that was such a long time ago , i havent really thought much about it" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

  ok - so if he didnt give anything "that long ago" any thought , did the same count for everything pre-1920 - i.e everything in the bible ???

  I asked my friend during our one and only ever argument why it had to be a "Governing Body". Why do God's followers have to be governed? Why does there have to be such order in everything "you all" do?

  Response: "Without order there would be chaos. We have to have someone to hold us accountable for our actions"

  I then asked, " Shouldn't that person be God? Can't you distinguish right from wrong and be ashamed unto God not some guys in New York?"

  Crickets were heard in the background....

  its a new day, its a new life and im feeling good!!

  i have finally moved out of my home with pioneering jdub, its been a rollercoaster few days.. hence my delay getting back to jwd... .

  i got glassed in town on a night out on saturday!!

  (wrong place, wrong time... have stitches but am ok)... i started uni on monday.. exciting stuff!
