i know this has probably been asked before but, how did you find jwd?.

i know that my life hasn't been the same since.

i love reading through peoples experiences and comparing them to my situation.

I know that my life hasn't been the same since. I love reading through peoples experiences and comparing them to my situation. (i hate calling it that!) What made you start this journey?

For me it was doubt that one day I may actually be able to hope that my husbands eyes were going to be open. After reading through peoples experiences, knowledge, and emotions I know that THE REAL TRUTH will one day bring us even closer. I know that one day I'll be able to share all of you wonderful people with him and he will know that he isn't alone. Thanks to you all.

growing up i had a friend that was disfellowshiped for premarital sex, marrying someone out of his faith, and pretty much being a free thinker.

to see what he went through at such a young age was painful to watch.

years later i meet this wonderful man, who was raised as a witness.

At times it will be hard to not get sucked in because my hubby and I do absolutely everything together. We are pathetically clingy! It's hard for either of us to do boys or girls nights because all we do is call eachother. Sickening, I know. As I've said before, i don't think I will every compromise who I am, especially with something that I know will bring more hurt than help for my husband. One day, hopefully, he will see what this has done to him.

Mr. Flipper's 80 year old Mom Survives Surgery,Witness Relatives Involved

well folks, mrs. flipper and i were gone for a few days up to my 80 year old witness mom's lower back surgery.

she pulled through it o.k.

but it took her about 60 to 72 hours to get out from under the anasthesia.

I went through something similar when my FIL was hospitalized. My husband hadn't seen his brother in years (3-4) and was only given a polite handshake. At the time i was just the harlot he was living with. At the time, his sister didn't not acknowledge me at all. Some may have seen in my brief story that she finally came around a bit when she was caught sleeping with her underage boyfriend and had to get married!

They have all come around somewhat but only at certain occasions. This just sucks for me because my family as i've stated before is extremely close. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what the future brings, or what the dub-ya tower decides to allow them to do.

you give me hope that my hubby will one day realize that the freedom he shares with me right now would only be limited if he decided to go back full force again. I sometimes wonder if he has done any investigating that led him to jwd before? Wouldn't that be awesome?! Someone stated earlier that they had already made up their mind but had to sugarcoat it due to active family members, i hope that is his case.

I always enjoy your posts!! I was never a jw but have been lurking for quite sometime now trying to make some sense of this. Thanks so much for taking the time to inform us and letting us into this part of your life.
