  i got disfelowshiped when i divorced my husband and altho we both went on to have relationships with other people he didn't get disfelowshiped as he wasn't going to meetings.

  we have since then got back together and i find it so frustrating that i still get treated like a leper being shunned by his family and all the other witnesses but he still gets invited to dinner and works with them.

  i don't want to be best buddys with any of them i just hate it when they cross the road to avoid me .

  and finding light... i was alone for 17 years, and even though i never knew anyone felt as i did about the jws, i still knew i was right.... i used to go down the road, cussing at air...how could my family be so fooled?

  i asked the wind.

  now i have you internet people, from all over the world that knew like i did many years ago- the fads are full of shit.

  I love reading about your experiences. I hope one day my husband will see how this religion tears families apart. I hope your father will one day hug you and say, I get it. Thanks so much for being so open with us, it helps more than you know.

  This may be pretty gross to some.

  My big ol jw friend was out drinking with her jw friends, (i don't usually get invited to these events...) when most got a little trashed. One of them has very bad gastric problems, and my buddy had to hold her up so she wouldn't mess herself. She later proceeded to explain that she actually had to help her sit on the toilet because she was that drunk. What a great christian example of how a young lady should act. My friend that is...hahahahahahaha!!!

  How do they go and lie to themselves on Sundays and get trashed on Thursday thru Saturday? That almost makes them as bad as ud Catholics! LMAO!

  Wow. An eye opener. I watched that special on HBO this morning, Death in Isreal? Not sure of the name. It's about the Israeli mother who lost her daughter to a suicide bomber that turned out to be another 17 year old Palestinian girl. It was heartbreaking to watch them meet. We are so far away from change when it comes to that part of the world IMO.

  He was explaining that his parents are going to Mexico for the wedding of a family friend. My hubby said he was like a brother to him, but coulnd't remember his name for a second (sad). I asked him how he could be getting married if I remembered pictures of him at his own wedding. According to my husband, his wife had cheated on him, and had been single for a while now.

  I don't remember why it came up but stated that he was probably just going to return pretty quickly because he is a citizen. He stated that he had become a citizen pretty quickly because when he became a witness he decided that he didn't want to cross illegally because that just wasn't right. Of course I rolled my eyes unbeknownst to him.

  I keep wondering if his wife really cheated or if he married for citizenship.

  what a bunch of winners.....I want my hubby to open his eyes.
