  How Can We Expose Child Abusers - Who Got Away with it as Witnesses ?

  i got the idea for this thread by talking with a friend this weekend who had been abused by a father when young.

  this person confronted this parent about it and got a very self righteous reply back from the offender.

  already a precedent for exposing the watchtower society has been set.

  I agree that if person has serious issues they should seek the appropriate help. To come here whinging then doing little or nothing about a problem is an exercise in futilty. As i told someone last night.

  This board can be great for asking questions and exchanging views, bot should only be a steeping stone at most for people with problems

  Having said that we have - well most, have gone on to the lighter threads here and enjoyed ourselves.

  As for exposing chlid molestors i have made views known.

  in a few hours.. to a new life, a new adventure.. thanks to the board for helping me to get to the place i am now in life.. it feels great...it's taken alot of time, thinking, pain, overcoming fears, communication and a good dose of reality.. believe me, .

  I am beginning a divorce after 30 years of marriage, it is hard for both of us, my wife still wants to remain a couple, i do not as we have very little in common, we have grown apart sadly. From what i see, usually long before either partner files there are signs that the marriage has difficulties. Sometime those difficulties can be overcome often not.

  I believe important an thing is to be as civilised as possible, despite what you are both going through.

  i remember on my first of dozens of trips to europe, standing in line to board the ferry that crossed lake chiemsee to one of king ludwig's castles.

  though we were talking quietly, it became apparent that we were a couple of americans mixed in with the german majority.

  Hi i am a Brit and i went to America for the first time this year. I was worried ,I thought you all had guns.

  I can honeslty say that from the moment i landed to the time i left i was treated very well

  I liked Americans before i like it more now.

  i am very pro Europe to . We can and should work together.

  So do not make such sweeeping statements

  It is just unfortunate you have George W , we have Gordon Brown. both wwill be gone soon

  If you are a victim or know a victim report it to the authorities immediately, let them deal with it. Keep any children away from the abusers

  But be careful to make sure of your facts.

  I am governor at a school and we have very definite strategies in place, these are designed to safeguard all.

  I know of one person who falsely accused someone of abuse, to cover up thier own actions. That person falsly accused lost their marriage, never saw thier child sill unborn and is still suffering years later

  Fireworks/Kids/Non licensed person...ok? or bad idea?

  i've been invited by a group of friends to join them at their house shooting off fireworks.

  ok, first red flag is i know they are not licensed and the fireworks are illegal.

  though, isn't it "illegal" the same as driving the car a bit over the speed limit?.

  |f you unsure you are unsure don't, follow your instincts .

  The safety of your kids is more important, than a firework dispaly Fireworks can be, and are dangerous.

  Take em to the movies instead
