I've been invited to "visit" the Unitarinan church tomorrow AM. What do you guys think? It doesn't really sound like a religion to me. My voice teacher has been one for decades.

if this is true, this could be the reason behind the sale of brooklyn property.

What is WT latest policy

jws cant get in my yard have 6ft locked fence (witness protection program) (really it's about keeping my animals safe).
my mom is 89 and more hooked than ever.

Yada, I appreciate what you said but remember you don't know the background with her and I. I do give her a break and I want to continue to be able to communicate, care for, and protect her at her age. The society isn't helping us out here. Just one woman from the cong visits her sporadically. No one checks on her, asks if she needs a ride to the meetings, asks her to go anywhere to get her out. She is the longest member and oldest of her congregation but is treated as if she is almost invisible. Whatever.

I didn't get spanked at the meetings. I was too scared of my mom. I saw a lot of kids having their arms wrentched while being dragged to the back, dragged back by their ear, carried kicking and screaming with a hand over their mouth. If I started getting antsy my mom would rap me in the head with the knuckle of her middle finger. I still have dents.

I have been dissassociated for many years. JWs cant get in my yard have 6ft locked fence (witness protection program) (really it's about keeping my animals safe). My mom is 89 and more hooked than ever. I suppose I have been too honest with her. She is basically a man hater so when she asks me if I believe the society is the faithful and discreet slave, I ask her if she is letting 17 penises in New York that she knows nothing about tell her what God's intent is? I say the bible says the only mediator between God and man is JC so why do we need another entity in there?
I go and see her and call her. I make sure she is allright and everything is good around the house. My non witness retired brother takes her out a couple times a week for lunch (he berates her, calls the bible a myth, and says she is crazy. He also wants to bomb the f...ing towelheads and shoot the GD mexican illegals. His religion is guns and the Marine Corp which he joined upon graduation from high school to get away from my mom.) She totally worships him.
Well......something has changed in her demeanor to me. She never calls anymore. When I take her out for lunch it is uncomfortable as she has no knowlege of anything that isn't filtered thru the societies filter. So the question is....Are JWs supposed to treat non active ones as if they are disfellowshipped? And what exactly is the latest policy of treatment of df/d people?

Euthanasia?
by MegaDude inanyone against euthanasia if you are sick with a terminal disease and you don't wish to die a protracted death?.
i have thought about this a lot since a coworker's grandfather here in the u.s., dying painfully of cancer, drove around and saw his relatives one final time and then killed himself.
they found him in a car by the side of the road.

I believe you should have the choice and if unable have it recorded so it can be done for you. Life without quality is worse than death. Death would be the kind and loving thing to do.. We do it for our animals with great love why not ourselves?

The"smelly stuff "hits the fan
by wobble inthurs @ 4 p,m bst (british summer time) the p.o ,or should i say now de-moted co-ordinator(i wonder if he knows?
) and a mincer are coming to encourage me.this is the official heavy visit i reckon.
i havn't been to a meeting since about april this year and have been inactive since a year before that.. i do not want to be d'f'd or to disassociate as i have all my family still in,my dear old mum(nearly ninety,in da troof sixty years) right down to great nephews and nieces etc.

Well, I guess my mom has been asking pointed questions like "do you still consider yourself a JW" to which I answer that I believe Jehovah is God (a little fudge) "do you believe the GB is the FDS..." I say I question anything that claims to mediate when the Bible is clear that only JC is the only mediator. I didn't know there were "special questions" out there to trap you from publishers. I quess I failed the apostate test.
If I were you I would just not be available, home, gone, moved, sick, passed out, whatever. Just leave me alone.
