Just having the concept of "community" is something I miss. It was just a "concept" not reality. This made me remember ...when G. Bush stole the first election I just wished there was somewhere I could go to grieve. Just stayed home.

Way to go. I think this site is place is a source of info and support for you. The purpose is for you to be able to speak freely and listen honestly while being anonymous. I don't think it is betraying anything for you to post here. What I do see is that you love your husband.

I used to sit on the side towards the front so I wouldn't be distracted by watching the amazing things people will do when bored out of their minds. It would make me laugh out loud. Not a good thing.

A Rabbi, a Hindu and George Bush were traveling in a car and it became late. They pulled into a farm to see if they could get a room for the night.
The farmer welcomed them all but only had room for two in the house. One would have to sleep in the barn. The Rabbi volunteered and everyone went to bed untill there was sudden loud knocking on the front door. The Rabbi was upset because pigs were in the barn and they are unclean. He could not sleep with pigs.
The Hindu then volunteererd and once again everyone bedded down and were just about asleep when there was knocking on the front door. There stood the Hindu explaining he could not sleep in the barn because cows were there and they were sacred.
George Bush reluctantly steps up to the plate and proceeds to the barn. Once again as everyone was drifting to dreamland there was serious banging on the front door.
When the farmer opened the door.
There stood the pig and the cow.

If you are really a good jw you can be pulled away by: music, making you yard too attractive(creating competition in your neighborhood), fashion, reading for pleasure or knowlege that is not from the society, bad association within the cong, being more than moderate in anything, making too much money, running, soccer, football, tennis, observing others who excell at anything, fishing, hunting, sleeping, walking or exercising when you should be studying, in service, preparing for the meetings, praying, attending meetings, TV, Radio, Movies, DVDs, showing too much skin, wearing minimizer bras, and men always wear that strap to make sure nothing "stands out", a gym membership, Plays, Musicals, thinking for yourself...oh and yoga. Anything else?
