Should I go to Bethal this afternoon?
by Princess Daisy Boo inso my family was supposed to be having a braai this afternoon, and a bit of a family gettogether, and this has been cancelled, but my sister is still keen on doing something and has invited us for coffee at her place at bethal... i don't really feel like going, but feel like i should (family duty and all that crap).... should i go?.

good day to all... checking the forum this morning, i noticed the unfriendly visitor has been thrown out. to be honest, i had no idea of what a troll is. now i know* i am convinced my study conductor would refer to him as satan in the flesh:-) and would remind me one more time of the terrible dangers of the internet:-) but you know what? instead of focusing on this negative character, i will focus on all the good there is to find on this site. and most of all, the warm welcome i received* feeling much better now:-)

wow! primitivegenius...you have it right on the spot! just as you wrote, there have been talks about baptism, field service, a convention in november. and of course, i still have to set foot in the kingdom hall. as for clothes, right again! i always wore pants for book study last winter. and no one ever said anything to me. BUT...the person who studies with me "kindly" gave me 2 skirts that apparently don't fit her anymore! now, what do you make of that? scary:-( *summer*

i am new here. it is only my 2nd post. i have been studying with the JWs for about 6 months now. i had never heard of this "love bombing" expression before. but after reading the few posts of this thread, believe me, i am living this "love bombing" right now! hugs here. hugs there. it is too much, and...does not always feel sincere:-(

i am new here. and i am sorry for going back that far and blowing the dust off these scrolls. but i have been reading this thread with great interest. i started studying with the JWs about 6 months ago. i have reached the stage where i question everything. so imagine how i felt when i stumbled upon this site! so much information. i have been reading...and reading. old stuff. newer stuff. it doens't matter. i have this great thirst for knowledge. i have also great love for Jehovah and Christ. but the more i study, the more i am afraid of making a wrong decision. i don't really have a question to ask. i am only here to thank you all for your comments. each and every one of you has something to add from his/her own experience. and it makes me believe i am here for a reason. i will keep lurking...and learning.
