  ok, because flipper brought up the beatles, i have to bring up the "anti- beatles".

  i always preferred the rougher, raw edge of the stones, and the more guitar driven sound with a swaggering, swinging beat.. i'll go with tumbling dice, keith here was at the peak of his addictions and still came up with one of the coolest riffs.

  anything from the micktaylor era is fabulous in my opinion, but sticky fingers and exile on main street are my favorite albums..

  thank you for your input Iron Rod. from where i stand right now with the JWs, each and every input counts. thank you. i am still waiting for my book Crisis of Conscience to be delivered. after that, i intend to get a King James version of the bible. and just as you did, study the bible in an objective manner. i am taking my time because it is important to me. and if armaggedon should arrive before i am done...oh well...hasta la vista, baby:-) until then, i still find comfort in the new testament. on the other hand, i am so happy i found this site. it is really THE site that opened my eyes. and i believe i was not taken here by coincidence*

  my wife and i were both raised as jw, we were both baptized when were fifteen years old.

  I am SO shocked to read countless stories on how this "true" religion, which claims to show only love between its followers, has destroyed {and continues to destroy} so many families. I ordered the book "Crisis of Conscience" yesterday and can hardly wait to get my hands on it! Your story touched my heart this morning. You did the right thing...emotions are still very raw on both sides. I admire your strenght for standing up on your own two feet...the same strenght will see you through. God bless...

  My mom and Armageddon

  my mom called me this morning and in the course of the conversation i enquired about her boss' wifes health - she was recently diagnosed with cancer.

  my mom told me and then launched into the whole, "oh how i wish armageddon would come" speech - "just imagine princess, how good it will be to see granny and grampa (neither of whom were witnesses btw) and how good it will be if people dont suffer "(refering to the woman with cancer - also not a witness btw) and so on - "oh how i wish you would come back" (somehow these other people will be there and i won't?

  "She told me how she wakes up each day and says Jehovah - today would be a good day for the end to come!" And I say..."Wake up to a bright sunshiny day, Princess!" Life is good:-)

  Not to sound crazy but.......

  hey you know i'm not suicidal but i lost my fear of death about two and a half years ago .

  i kind of see it as a relief .

  i'm in good health i love my family and friends and am greatly loved in return people need and apreciate me now which has always been something i've enjoyed.
