  think about it---witnesses proclaim that their identifying mark is love.

  they are the "most loving organization in the world".

  they personify christ and are the only "true christians".

  hi,i have just registered here because i need someone to talk to in a way that wont end me up before a jc.i have been reading a lot of stuff recently about the wts being false prophets and the like.i also hate the fact that there are so called "spiritual" men out there who abuse their positions to molest children.i have been a witness now for 20yrs but instead of feeling spiritually alive i feel totally and utterly confused.i do not know which way to turn.anyone out there who feels the same ?

  share your thoughts with me ..please and help me unburden myself to someone.

  Yes, the 'love bombing' is happening because I started studying a few months ago. At this point in time, I still have a weekly study on Mondays. And I go to the Revelation book study on Thursdays. I have spent so much time searching the Intenet!!! You should only see my bookmarks! I ordered the book Crisis of Conscience, which should be delivered soon. I also read many personal experiences on this site. They all have a commun denominator of pain and sorrow.

  trev should be home soon, his best mate took him to the pub, while julie drove trev's car back here.

  they are due back anytime, they said 7ish, and it's that time now.

  he's had a few beers, which i think will do him good, and we are getting him some food ready.

  I am into the 'love bombing' period right now. And yes, I always have this uncomfortable feeling that it is forced and fake. And the shunning is downright cruel and inhuman. Any decent human being would not treat a dog this way:-(

  i sent an email to a jw relative earlier today that showed some office supplies that go on sale starting sunday because i know they are always on the lookout to save a few bucks for their business.

  i got this reply a few minutes ago.. " ___'s father passed away wednesday.

  memorial tomorrow at __ at ___ kingdom hall.

  Sorry about the loss of your friend. And I can only imagine the pain your wife must have felt with the way she was treated when her mum passed away.

  First, someone should never refer to herself/himself as stupid. We all often do or say things we don't mean. It does not mean we are stupid. It only means we are human beings. Some people learn from their mistakes. Some people don't.

  In your case, it was very thoughtful and very considerate to send a PM to the person you thought you offended. On the other hand, a public forum is a place we should all expect a clash of opinions once in a while. I know the very minute I registered to this forum, a troll {no idea what the heck it was at the time} gave me a hard time and made me run away. But a few considerate PMs and posts {you were one of them} made me stay. And I am glad I did.
