my parents and sister came to visit for a few days before thanksgiving (they left the day of) so i decided to cook the turkey dinner the day before turkey day.
i had the greens in the crockpot and the dressing was already made when i started the bird, it was a small one (about 12 pounds) so it wasn't going to take long to roast.
i was doing my favorite martha stewart white wine and butter turkey and had just got it going when my sister declared that she wanted to step out for a short while to go to her fav gallery shop in my town.
thank you much, mrsjones...
love cooking with wine!
this one is a keeper!

the endeavor to compel all men to think alike on all subjects,.
culminated in the great apostasy and the development of the .
great papal system; and thereby the 'gospel,' the 'one faith,'.
If I do not want what you want, please try not to tell me that my want is wrong.
Or if I believe other than you, at least pause before you correct my view.
Or if my emotion is less than yours, or more, given the same circumstances, try not to ask me to feel more strongly or weakly.
Or yet if I act, or fail to act, in the manner of your design for action, let me be.
I do not, for the moment at least, ask you to understand me.
That will come only when you are willing to give up changing me into a copy of you.

you guys this has really freaked me out so much tonight as i was looking though my revelation book climax at hand i was looking to see where we had left off and i usually do this by seeing where i have stopped highlighting in the book.. so i started at pg 156 & 157 of the book so there were a bunch of marks on those two pages their are pics nothing special there.. but on page 159 their is a pic of jesus in the heavens where he is extending his handout to get a piece of paper and that's where i notice on the hand that were the wrinkles are supposed to be there is a face like a fetusnow i mean anybody can tell you that is a face of a baby.
i don't know why a baby on jesus hand or what it suppose to mean.
i guess it really shows how the control tower (watchtower) make me a jw feel really shitty.
Just looked at my book and yes, it sure is an ugly foetus. More like scary!!!
Will point it out to my study conductor next monday and see if she noticed it and what she has to say.

things i have always wondered about jws but never asked my boyfriend about (because i thought i would sound stupid!)...
- what goes on at jw wedding ceremonies?
are they that much different from other christian weddings?.
- If JWs don't belong to this world, shouldn't they try to build a spaceship and travel far far away, to a distant galaxy? Or at least to Mars?
Yes!
LMAO!!!
omg i'm so pissed at my cat baby.he has this thing he does when the cat box needs changed.he pees on my clothes and on my bedding.i usually don't know he's doing it till it's to late.. last week i had just changed my bedding and put my 300.00 comferter on my bed for winter.i just climbed in my bed to go to sleep.my cat gets up on the bed and pees on me.. i know what your thinking get rid of the cat he's got a problem.but i can't who would adopt a cat who's a known pee er?
?he only does this when the cat box is really bad.i'm usually on top of it but there are times when i get home and i'm too tired to change the cat box.. so now i'm trying a new cat litter.i tried feline pine.now i'm trying a cat litter made of recycled news paper.it's called yesterdays news.so far i like it better then feline pine because i hate the smell of the pine cat litter.it smells like i have giant hamsters living with me.. now i'm left with cleaning up the pee smell out of my comferter.i bought some vinager because another poster told me it gets pee and other oders out of fabric.i'm soaking the comferter in it now and i will leave it soaking till monday.my comferter is too big to just throw in a washer and wash.i need to take it to a laundry mat and put it in a washer that can wash 4 loads at once.. does anyone else have any tips for me.number one to get the smell out if the vinager doesn't work and number two to get him to pee where he's supposed to..
Yes BIG D...
I had that very same problem with my cat. We were away for a weekend and the cat pee ruined part of the hardwood floor in the hallway:-(
Noni, have you tried a Google on getting rid of cat pee odour? I am sure you will find something there.
Good luck.

hi all, just finished reading this story to my kid.
now, the star-bell sneetches had bellies with stars.
they were really so small.
Beautiful, but only too true story.
To me, it does not depict only JWS. But also a large part of our society.
Sad. But I want to believe there's hope.

hello folks, mr. flipper the pot stirrer here again.
no, not really, i was easy on the old guy.
at our post office in our home town there every day is an approximately 65 to 70 year old witness man who stands next to the post office entry door with the magazines wt & awake.
Great job, Mr Flipper!
It is ok to get them on a large scale. But one at a time is also important.
Even the smallest thrown stone makes ripples!

because of my background with the witless ones, when my husband died it was hard to believe he was in heaven.
i could hope there is a heaven for those who die.
that he is in a better place.
I believe 'heaven' is what we make of it.
If "your" view of heaven makes you cope better with the loss of a loved one, then why look any further, at least for now.
Your view may change with time. But personally, I do believe in a better place. And that keeps me going through my highs and lows. And for now, that is all that matters.
Wishing you the best...
