One thing i dont get is jesus said " suffer not the little children to come to me".Well if i could speak to jesus i would like to ask him " how did you feel when your father murdered all those little children to prove he was the better god? I just dont get it!

by oompa inwould kill billions of people for any reason.. would require family members to not speak to a member of their own family.. would require a parent to stone a child for being a bad boy.. would require probably millions of animals to be slaughtered and make smoke for him.. would let a rapist of a young girl have the privilege of marrying her.. would let mankind suffer for thousands of years to prove something to his heavenly creatures.. would let horrible "natural" tragedies occur, killing millions of people, when they don't have to happen.. would communicate to mankind by writing to them.....but not keep any originals around....like pyramids.. would want to be worshiped in the first place.....i just don't get it........................you can add your own if you want..........oompa.

Help reform the crumbling tower with your bright ideas
by JH inlets say that the watchtower approached you to help them be more successful, so that more people join and be happier jw's.. what would you suggest?.

I would suggest they lighten up on the boring kingdom songs book and start playing some trance and drum and base at the meetings.For example if you was to have a talk on jesus sets you free- you could kickstart this with- en trance- set you free.Throw in some flashing lights and they could convert the clubbers.

losing the plot for jehoovah

for example ive heard from members of my cong that we once had a guy who believed he was an angel and would try to eat the bread and wine at the memorial evening[ and the elders would stop him].theres been many others ive heard of.at one assembly a poor old guy was giving a talk and i overheard someone i know mention how " he gives good talks but hes had a big nervous breakdown over the years".
i was suspicous when i heard these things then but now all these things start to fit into place.i mean how can an organization who professes gods backing have so much mental instability.. .

I think with me the watchtowers constant perfectionist influence has completley worn me down now at this stage in my life.It comes from being told to go to meetings after working all day and being totally tired out.From being pushed to stand on the platform and talk and talk and .... from being made to constantly analize yourself and wonder whether jehhoovah will be pleased with you.To go out on the ministroni in the rain and pretend to be happy.And to question every little thing in life.
Talking of which im doing this now.
Im starting to feel for once that its time for a bit of me time.

Be intresting to see whether the original hebrew and greek scriptures even used commas and other symbols like that.

Funny enough one watchower study a few years back warning about music i remember had some of the lighter quotes from eminem in such as " suger coated " .I bet someone sits in bethel palying those songs over and over." Thats just pure filth, bob come listen to this we,ll have to warn them about this in one of our rags".

is watchtower growing or shrinking
by jacethespace init still seems like a dillema to me as the watchtower seems to teach whats in the bible really well, although these days i can see a few scriptures which have been twisted and deep down i have never trusted the new world translation.. but on the other hand the statistics dont seem to add up at all.for example since i have been in my congregation despite the inportance placed on jws to be out on field circus only the odd few accept mags on the doors all others just couldnt be bothered.my local congregation has not really grown and brought in the so called right hearted ones.the odd few have come in but mainly growth seems to come from jws that have left their country and come to britain esp from zimbabwe thats seems popular.in fact ive saw a number leave.. plus my book study group in my neighbourhood for tuesday evenings has not grown at all despite the odd study here and there and a few people having the mags.im im left thinking come on out of all the people in my area only this small group here is expecting to be saved and they arent anything special not any better than anyone else.. id like to know what if any growth in congregations others have seen and how many people respond etc?.
