  The bibles missing books

  throughout the bible it constantly points to books which havent been included in the codex.for example it says "see the book of enoch" or "enoch prophesied of these..".and "see the book of jasher" as well as others.. the watchtower has always said that even though babylon the great isnt gods organization that they happened to be guided by gods holy spirit when they decided which books to cananize and which to not.. only thing is thinking about it one thing springs to mind!.

  if they are written about in scripture under the israelites and under the christians of the 1st century then they were of course using these "missing books" back then anyway.. so the watchtowers stance on this is flawed.. does anyone else have anymore information on these missing books or the watchtowers info on this?.

  what was the biggest scandals[or incidents] in your own congregations that got you starting to doubt whether the watchtower was what it made itself out to be?.

  one the things for me was the attitude of the people in the congregation after i had took some time off meetings and then returned again.i quickly realized there was no unconditional love only conditional love.also when the watchtower had a letter read out from the platform warning us to not watch the bbc panarama documentary on the watchtowers child abuse problems.and everyone just avoided watching it and said that it was "satan"trying to use anything to get us out the "truth".

  Seeing old watchtower aquantances

  i havent posted here for quite a while,since jwd changed websites in fact, but had to relate this.. a few days ago i bumped into some of my local congregation members i havent saw for quite a while.and said hello to the guy i knew and chatted with him while his wife was in the local store.first thing i noticed was the attitude that i had gotten away from and in fact was one of the reasons why i decided to leave.he told me that the org was moving forward and guiding them better than ever and said that it would be better if i didnt come back because i wouldnt beable to keep up with the progress of the org.although he said he didnt want me to go down with the world.his arrogance was just wrong.i told him the bible says that every man will be found a liar and he said it depends how you interpret it.his wife came out the shop and was much more pleasant and then another member i hadnt saw for a while came over to them [ i think they had been out on a boasting session] and i said hello.however she said hi but practically ignored me.the whole experience was just so sureall that i couldnt help but think that it encourages people not to listen to them and left quite angry.baring in mind i live next door to an elder and see him often.some seem to look down on you when you stop going and others just dont bother talking to you as i they are above everyone else.. jacethespace.

  Those flying saucers

  are the american authorities covering up what they know about ufos.and perhaps the existence of other beings.. researching lately old newspapers on the net i came across a lot of material reporting sightings of ufos all starting in or around 1947 and all in america.some crashed some openly landed in a park and pictures were took.and america created and expermented with disc shaped craft such as the famous avro car.but they denied that they continued with the projects and that ufo sightings had anything to do with them.here is some articled :.

  so what do you think did charles taze russell get a divorce because he was having an affair with the maid ?.

  Confused a little

  my heads getting a little messed up lately.my lifes moved on a lot since i attended my short return and last meeting on 1.1.2008.. my jobs going extremly well.and recently got into a good relationship thats getting deep.and i mean deeeeep.especially today and i wont go into much detail here.. so why the hell do i feel like im still making a mistake walking away from the watchtower.i feel like im being sucked back into a world that i cant trust where the people around me are misled and im becoming more and more corrupted.is that just the watchtower mind control affecting me or is this really the way it is.. to spell it out i did something today that would get me disfellowshipped and i feel bad.but why?im not in the watchtower anymore.. oh well, just needed to vent a few things here..

  No book study?

  is it true that the watchtower has scrapped the book study group meetings?.

  i find this really funny as for years when i was in the tower i was constantly being told how jehovah has set up the book study group so that when the great tribulation starts and religion is turned on we can then all meet in our small book study groups around the world and be protected and still be instructed and spirtually poisoned i mean fed to death.but now this plan is blown out the window those still in the tower are still falling for this bull and believing no doubt that this is jehovah improving his organization.. has anyone still in asked what will happen to the congregation now when religion is banned at the end?.

  also what about the scripture they always used which said 1st century christians met in there homes?does that no longer matter or apply?.

  Will the tower play there power trip on me?

  since i have left the watchtower i have met a really great girl [ or as the tower might put it-worldly].

  the thing is i think i might be in a bit of a predicament because when i left the tower i decided on the option that i would just walk away and not send a letter of dissociation.and the local elder and his wife lives right next door to me.because of this i have still saw them and other of my tower associates and been able to speak to them and they have spoke to me.. but now i have a feeling that once i start to bring my girlfriend back to my place that my neighbour/elder will take more of an intrest in whats going on and it might lead them to dissfellowshipping me.although as far as im concerned my life is none of there buisness anymore.but im just wondering how long it will take for them to visit me and announce that they are going to df me.. anyone had any similar experiences or anything?.

  Russia and a new cold war

  i occasionally find myself wondering whether the situation with russia is the bible prophesy of the king of the north and his final rising up being fullfilled.although im out of the watchtower i sometimes wonder.. what do you think the situation with russia is leading too?is it a new cold war starting?.
