  What B/S excuses have you heard regarding the UN & the child abuse cases?

  the un , library card , it didn't happen ,and the good old apostates spreading lies.

  child abuse , the society doesn't like publicity so they payed out to keep it quiet ( anyone remember "defending and legally establishing the good news") it didn't happen , and you guessed it apostates.............

  Last farewell-Queens tribute to SirEd Hillary

  the queen had a service at windsor castle for sir ed this week.

  he was a great yet humble man .

  he reached the top of everest the same day the queen was coronated he dedicated it to her.

  The Queen had a service at windsor castle for Sir Ed this week. He was a great yet humble man . He reached the top of Everest the same day the Queen was coronated he dedicated it to her. I come from the same town as Sir Ed he was very approachable his phone number was in the phone book and school children doing projects would ring him & he would talk to them & was a regular visiter to schools. He worked very hard to help the lot of the Sherpas in Napaul. He never said who 1st put there foot on top of Everest him or Sherpa Tesning norgate that went to the grave with both of them . R.I.P Ed Hillary Karter

  Judge rules JW elders must testify in molestation case

  this just went up on freeminds regarding the jw elders in southern california, who have so far been stonewalling about their private conversations with accused jw child molester gilbert simental... the judge in the case has issued an order for them to testify:.

  (the judge) said... "it was more like a third-party investigation into immoral conduct."...

  the judge said, the elders' duty was to determine guilt and to protect the congregation, not to keep the communications under wraps.

  Elders doing something they could be DF'ed for wile judging someone on JC?

  how can they clam to have the holy spirit?.

  the jc that df'ed my brother one of the elders was screwing a married sister!.

  i know of at least 2 cases of that.. one guy was po for many years turns out he had been screwing his own daughter since she was little.. .

  Do you consider your time as a JW wasted time??

  many of us have devoted a lot of time and energy to the jw's at the expense of other things like education , planing for retirement , family time just to name a few.. i don't consider it all wasted time there was a lot of good i learnt however i'm doing things now as a jw i never would have.. i don't have the same time pressure and never fell guilty about taking a lot of time out for myself as one elder said to me"if we don't keep you brothers real busy in the work of the kingdom you get swallowed up by the world" .

  From Rutherford -2008 Watchtower ="dont have kid's till after Armagedon!"

  yes i thought rutherford's policy on kid's was dead and the society had wised up....until i read the new "witnesses only" watchtower study magazine...compare.. rutherford's last book "children" 1942 = p.281 "wait until after armagedon to bring children into the world...it is only afew years before the other sheep are gathered to the lord, until armagedon...those with infants during armagedon will have greater woe...it would be a far greater difficulty to care for them during the tribulation.".

  The 1st c.o i remember as a child he and his wife just loved children always made a fuss of us got us to draw pictures ect

  Before he died a few years ago he said"if we knew the system was going to last this long we would have had children"

  Sad they would have been wounderful parents.
