I must have missed this; I don't know anything about it. Can somebody explain or provide a link that will explain?

although i find this unsurprising, i think it worth mentioning as it demonstrates a point.
i know a brother in chile, and i wanted confirmation on the flag flying outside the kh in that country.
he said he was unaware of it.

interesting theory i thought on stephen lett.
if anything i would of thought tomo3 would of caused them more grief with his comments.. http://insidethewatchtower.com/governing-body/stephen-lett-dumped-from-governing-body/.
i've been on and off the forum for a couple of years now.
mostly lurking.. the last time i set foot in a kingdom hall was back in 2005 before i disassociated myself formally.. over the years i've kept up with the doctrinal changes and changes in practices.
the problem is that because i haven't been practically experiencing these changes, much of the new information has not stuck clearly in my head.
What does "Need Greaters" mean?THE WATCHTOWER (STUDY EDITION) APRIL 2015
Elders, How Do You Feel About Training Others?
IN SOME parts of the world, numerous congregations receive much help in the form of “need greaters”—brothers and sisters who have moved in from abroad. These self-sacrificing Witnesses have a large share in bringing in the spiritual harvest. But what would happen if these hardworking Kingdom preachers were to leave the country? In many congregations, there would not be enough qualified local brothers to care for all the congregation responsibilities. Hence, “need greaters” serving as elders have a compelling mission—that of helping local brothers to become shepherds of the flock.
thought this had to be made.
If you go to the Amazon link Watchtower-Free posted and then "Look inside", it has this quote:
Still others, such as Jehovah's Witnesses and the Mormons have been highly visible for many decades. In the early editions of Combating Mind Control, I did not include stories about those aberrant Christian groups.
However, over the years I have been contact by many people who were born into those organizations, telling me how the book helped them.
Paradoxically, because the earlier editions didn't mention either group, the book wasn't banned by church leaders and so it was widely read by church members as a result

4. Presiding Overseer is called the Coordinator for the Body of Elders, or COBE.
12. "Need Greaters". Maybe I wasn't paying attention before, but this latest Watchtower study was the first time I read that expression in print.
20. There are no longer two day conventions, just one day

the saturday program will be added tomorrow, followed by the sunday program the next day..
Hey I don't mean to be rude, but why do we want to help share the content of the assembly? For those of us that are faders or still viewed by others as "in", this will be a convenient way to watch the program without having to waste our time and money on driving, hotels, and seeing people we'd rather not. Sometimes knowing the content of the program is vital to keep up appearances.
A big thankyou to Wifi, Cappy and Pixel
things that make you rotate your head slightly and say whaaaaaaat.
how in the heck does the gb trick the sheeple to think that a newly baptized persons prayers are more powerful that everyone else.
maybe even stronger the self appointed god's, aka (governing body) aka ( monkey feces).
sounds familiar.
Reference please?
It was in the May Broadcast, about the 45 min mark, when they're out bowling.
"He reminded me that as a newly baptized witness, my prayers are much more readily received."
No scripture quoted afterwards to back that claim up.

quote in title taken from article footnote.. anyone have information on who gene hwang and yan-der hsuuw in the article are?.
why do they repeatedly state that apes turned to humans when that's not what evolutionists teach at all?.
They will just silently change the online article to appease the sh!tstorm
Cappytan, yes they might change the online article but some people will notice. I think it's worth mentioning that the January Awake with the removal of the Professor Rama Singh misquote is what started my doubts and subsequent fade.
I had downloaded the PDF and was confused because I was certain a Canadian professor was quoted when I first read the article. Then I found the paper version. I googled "Professor Rama Singh" (the WT quoted him, so it must be alright to read his works) in order to research and deepen my faith. From there I noticed JWFacts & JWSurvey... Kudos on them picking innocuous domain names, otherwise I might not have checked.

The quote that WT attributes to Richard Dawkins isn't even from him.
It's from Genome: The Autobiography of a Species in 23 Chapters by Matt Ridley. You can read the chapter it was taken from in excerpt here.“The filament of DNA is information, a message written in a code of chemicals, one chemical for each letter,” wrote evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins. “It is almost too good to be true, but the code turns out to be written in a way that we can understand.
Richard Dawkins was merely quoting Matt Ridley in The Oxford Book of Modern Science Writing.
Not only are WT now misquoting authors, they are getting the source authors altogether wrong.
