  it occurred to me today, that so often, my mother will make the comment that .

  "those false religions teach that everyone is going to heaven when they die, oh sure, .

  all you have to do is be a good person, and off you go to heaven.

  watchtower teaches jws that christ's presence began invisibly in 1914. they also teach that the start of christ's presence coincides with the start of the last days.

  whether you believe in the bible or not, watchtower claims these teachings come from the bible.

  so does the bible actually agree with them?

  Well Jesus returned in kingdom glory within the lifetime of his first disciples. Revelation 1:7 features a message John was given to inform first century Christians to behold (Look out for) the then coming King on the clouds.

  The KEY WORD in Isaiah 44:25-26 is "Predictions" and the apostles NEVER made any predictions setting dates.

  isaiah 44:25-26, i am frustrating the signs of the empty talkers, and i am the one who makes diviners act like fools; the one confounding the wise men and turning their knowledge into foolishness; the one making the word of his servant come true and completely fulfilling the predictions of his messengers.

  the record shows your words and many predictions did not come true.

  again, the key word in isaiah 44:25-26 is "predictions" and the apostles never made any predictions ever.

  Study the bible with an open mind and look for how to improve your life than how to improve other people's lives. Read scholarly books and articles on passages of scripture. Endeavor to apply all that you glean from the holy scriptures and respectable scholarship. In terms of association, make it your aim to minister to others about Lord Jesus wherever you may be. That is the alternative.

  at the beginning of the may broadcast stephen lett said this was a historic broadcast.

  he explained that every member of the governing body had hosted a show and they were starting over again.

  that was all the explanation he gave.

  i, like many others, was furiously emailing about deborah when the issue of only male elders came up.. it seemed curious that angus didn't address deborah, as he surely knew of it.. thankfully, ol' geoff, and wt, cannot resist trying to get in a last word, which opened the door for angus.
