  Elder Pedophiles that you personally know of . . .

  after the ambiguous response by the wts to the nbc broadcast, i would like to know how many of you had an "elder chester molester" in your own congregation?.

  we had an elder that molested his daughter's best friend when she was 14 years old.

  the elders in the congregation tried to keep the matter quiet and handled the matter privately.

  Im not proud of this but I know a few.
  
  One guy, now dead, abused his daughter for years and was a prominent and loved elder. Interestingly, his wife committed suicide years earlier and he found her under his bed, dead..........hhhhmmmmmmmm.
  
  A really god friend of mine was abused by and elder and there is an elder in the local cong who was accused but only by one witness, steped down and was reappointed before the new ruling was brought in.
  
  I know of heaps of other stories, not elders though, alot of guys in there 20's fiddling around with 10-14 year olds.
  
  If you are part of a society that constantly links sex with sin, eventually they become inextricably linked and ones sexuality will have guilt associated with it.
  
  The results are obvious and sad.

  2008 study WT will be confiscated from non-publishers

  the literature servant told me that their instructions are to only give one study wt per publisher starting with the january 1st, 2008 issue.

  under no circumstances are they to provide any other copies (if lost or whatever, much like kms are provided now).

  any guests attending the wt study will be provided a copy, but then the servant who gave them the copy must confiscate it after the meeting.

  Aust= Missionary Quits!! Watchtower wants his "English Teacher" wages???

  a brother from the 1st ministerial training school in australia, quit his missionary assignment in asia.

  the society had to send him in as an english teacher otherwise missionaries are not given visa's.

  so on assignment he had to teach english part-time for a small wage.

  Crazy JW Urban Legends

  ok its time to recount all your favorite crazy jw urban legends, ill start i remember this one was told to me after i had left the org, there was a newly married couple, they were good little dubs, evil mother in law lived with them, she did not want to convert or study, well time went on they had a baby, and mother in law was into some spiritual stuff, unknown to jw mommy and daddy.

  anyway jw mommy wakes up one night to find little baby dub sitting inside the fish tank with most of the water taken out and there was some kind of evil spirit present, mommy dub yells out jemimas name and breaks free with baby dub.

  evil mother in law is asked to leave their happy home.

  I have two!
  
  #1. When we were kids we werent allowed to have smurfs because they were "demonized". Rumour had it one rather clever little stuffed smurf stood up during the meeting =, simply stating " Ive had enough of this" and walked himself out...never to be heard from again. He probably posts on here from time to time.
  
  
  #2. Recent. A pioneer sisters mum has a friend who has been transformed from GC to OT courtesy of a public visit in a public place from a friendly angel.
  There was three ladies, 2 witnesses and an evil non believer, they all saw the angel but only the transformed sister heard him speak.
  The thing that shocked me is everyone in the room believed the story as it was being told.
  
  Im like WHATEVER! and I get the dirty looks!!

  many years ago now i remember hearing harold king sing the song he had composed whilst incarcerated for his beliefs in china; it was called "house to house".. nowadays it doesn't seem as though it's in favor.

  notice its own description of its ministry which the wts has placed on its website:.

  jehovah's witnesses are probably best known for their person-to-person ministry.

  some people on here seek truth, some seek solace, some friendship, some humor, some advice....some seek there own advantage and others want an argument,
  
  If you really think Jesus, our great exemplar, the most humble of all of Jehovah's servants, expected us to go from door to door and didn't lead by example, then I say your blind!!!
