i just asked for a free psychic reading thru' the net last week.I was told that I will get a little fortune today. I bought the lottery but no luck. So I concluded its bullshit. But just an hour ago, my brother came back and told me he strike the lottery and will give me $300 tomorrow! The funny thing is that my this bro is a stingy bastard, never give me or even lend me money b4!

He just throw the mag on the floor and hurried away with fear showing on his face.It puzzled me so much that I need to look into the mirror to check. Nothing wrong with me. Then I go out. This guy is around my age, a new convert I think. Wonder what they told him about XJWs and me.possessed by demons???

What happens if your DF'ed at the Big A
by sooner7nc inthe question is actually, what does the borg say or think as regards persons who have been df'ed who have shown repentance, but have not been reinstated at the time of the big a, or die in an accident, sudden illness, etc.
while df'ed.
do these persons get raised from the dead, or are they sol because of the vagaries of time and circumstance?

At first they said no, they won't be resurrected. later yes..and then no again. don't know whether it is yes or no now...do you still give a damn as to what they say? They say non JWs will all be killed at the big A. But ask yourself this question : "Have every person on this earth been reached with their "good news"? Is it fair for these people to be killed without having a chance to choose? Furthermore, not all who were DFed or DA'ed has commit a sin. Some were DF because they begin to have doubts and dare to question. Will J destroy these people? I remember a verse that new converts 'examine the scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.'But JWs can be dfed for doing so and they will be killed at big A?

I joined JWD in oct 07 but has already left the borg 2 yrs ago. Their teachings of demons has been haunting me even though I have left as I got myself dealing with spiritism. But after just a month here, reading posts from you all, I come to realise that the "truth" may not be the truth afterall.Through my own experiences with the spirit world, I can now conclude that these spirits are not demons and that there is really life after death. You will seldom see me posting here as I have put all those jw junk stuff behind, and am living a free life. Thank you guys and gals for giving me the support when I needed it most.

Apostate Bible studies?

it may not be a new idea, but i'll try to get it out coherently.. lets say there is a guy, he's a jw but has been surfing the net and knows now that the wts is bogus.
he can't just leave, he has family-wife and young children who are in the borg.

But you must remember the JWs mentality. They will flee if anyone tries to plant a doubt in their minds.
It won't be so smooth sailing as you wish. They may advise you to stop studying with this fella. If you insist, they may just simply refuse to sit in during the study. Or they may inform the elders. The elders may tell you to pass over this study to them. And after some time, they will just stop the study with him...
