  yes england just won back the ashes at trent bridge.. by an innings and 78 runs and their celebrating like a pack of wild dogs.. if it wasn't for the royal commission all australia would be in serious depression tonight.

  jw sisters are forbidden to read any elder book any or anything for elder eyes only yet ms appleseed who is considerd an wt expert is a practicing catholic part of babylon the great can read all this info in fact they give it to her.

Based on her review of the evidence, Applewhite opined that the Congregation never put Kendrick “into a position that required or allowed him to be alone with children, to be in supervision of children, [or] to spend time with children away from their families.” Because the church’s activities did not separate children from their parents, Appelwhite opined that its best means of protecting children was to educate parents about child sexual abuse, and it exceeded the standard of care for such education in the 1990’s. According to Applewhite, the elders met the standard of care in Kendrick’s case when they left it up to Evelyn and her daughter whether to tell the police about the abuse he admitted, and “they kept a special watch on him and paid attention to whether or not he had any inappropriate contact with children within the meetings at Kingdom Hall.”

  I Made the Literature Trolley Run Away Today - Twice

  i popped into town this morning to buy an anniversary card for mrs cofty.

  it is market day on a saturday and it's tourist season so the town was very busy.

  here is a picture of the scene from a year ago... two cult carts were in their favourite place being guarded by none other than one of the elders who was on my judicial committee, his wife and another jw woman in her electric disability buggy.

  I have tried to calmly and respectfully talk to the trolley people! Nx time will follow your lead and have a specific topic and stick to it. Amazing how defensive and panicked they get. Poor things the WT expects so much from them and gives them so little training and support!!!!!

  I am currently studying social work at university. Angus Stewart highlighted that expert Applewhite has never had a peer reviewed article published and she didnt even know how many words it took to complete her own "doctoral thiesis" which had nothing to do with abused children...........In USA social workers are registered and can be struck of for not practicing according to the International Federation of Social Workers Code of Standards and Ethics. She made me embaressed for the social wok profession...............Totally grubby

  pray for brother jackson of the governing body!.

  in todays news from australia it appears that, despite his previous declination to appear when invited, justice mcclellan from the australian royal commission on child sex abuse will officially summon brother geoffrey jackson to the stand after all.. ..... the commission was due to conclude its hearings into the jehovahs witnesses on wednesday but justice mcclellan said he will now call geoffrey jackson, a senior member of the churchs governing body in new york who is currently in australia, to appear next week.. .

  shunning verses victamization

  i know i`ve put this out there before but i want to put it in a different context & see what you think.

  i`ve shunned my parents for 20 years (farther, step-mother) because they victimized me every day of my life as a child, believe me when i tell you that writing this , is unbelievable hard, it is making me shake & cry to be pulling up the memories.

  all of what happened i could have forgiven, but one thing.

  I agree.... the WT societies creative interpretations of scripture not only "tear people lives apart" but stunt their potential eg, no higher education, single women who have never been able to find "a partner in the truth" who would have loved to have been mothers, intelligent, inspiring creative women who have had to suppress themselves and be "listen in silence"...an on and on it goes..................pretty dreadful all around......

  Rodney Spinks Lies...

  hi guys.

  i actually have had dealings with rod and found him to be a very reasonable and "non-robotic" man in the past.. i know it should not surprise me, but i was disappointed to hear his lies and half-truths.. they know their stuff and are not easily led, but he tried to lead the royal commission to believe that 2 people could be involved in investigating a claim - which is wrong.. his lack of memory on what parts of the judicial process are biblical - hello - none are.

  there are no scriptures that backup the use of 3 men, a body of elders, cutting people off from family and friends, restrictions, etc.. he also lied about the gb being involved in policy creation and changes.. his statement that in all cases, elders are told to inform parents that they can go to the authorities and get the full support of the congregation is not verifiable.

  Same here. even the word inactive is used on the inside in a derogatory way as weakness/lack of faith or laziness.

  Publishers will go to any lengths to get even just a tiny amount of time to stop being labeled inactive.

  Dont expect normal from a high control cult. Love is conditional on obedience to society first. (Its not personal they don't even know they are doing it that why cults work) I regularly/obediently shunned and did not question shunning when I was a witness and even shunned my best friend and my mother. When it happened to me I was astounded at the impact and how much it hurt. Best thing that ever happened to me!! I now see my remaining family inside cult as the victims. Take advantage of counselling and smell the roses.
