in a really respectful, friendly manner i approached them and enquired if watchtower society had done anything about its "two witness policy" post royal commission.
knew nothing of 2 witness rule.

I think one of the hardest things about being shunned is being rendered voiceless. Asking reasonable questions just highlights how ill-equipped JWs are to defend their distorted cultish doctrine/ideology in public. cant be a bad thing. -

In a really respectful, friendly manner I approached them and enquired if Watchtower society had done anything about its "two witness policy" post Royal commission. Knew nothing of 2 witness rule. I more than happily gave them a unwitness about the royal commision, my child and I giving evidence in written form, the fact the WT will be paying compensation sometime in future ect, ect...... . Told me I need to go on JW.org, talk to elders and read the bible. I l made it plain until we made our child's abuse public by reporting to police ect we where in good standing (no for drugs/sex or rock and roll). I let her know that she was victimizing the victims by assuming the shunning is our fault. I was so stressed I didn't talk long but I never raised my voice, allowed her to talk and listened respectfully. So may be when LETT is engaging in another Hate Speech rant about "mentally diseased apostates" they may "think" for a millisec ...............or may be not.... -

Elders/priests/monks (religious guides) have no place dealing with criminal matters "in house"
As seen at RC elders who didn't pass on allegations of child abuse to proper authorities eg, child services/police were seen as grossly negligent putting at risk both witness children and the public.

Witnesses may not drink koolaid but they will die and allow their children to die rather than have a blood transfusion. They control access to information re: education, books, music. They victimize the victims who are raped by fellow members. They exercise undue influence and control on even the most intimate aspects of members lives. Where else can uneducated misogynistic men who mostly have no formal qualifications exercise such power only on the basis of being 'spirit appointed'. And they victimise those who seek to leave.......a cult is a cult is a cult...........

Hello everyone!
by Planetsmashers inive been lurking for a while and finally got around to registering.
about me: i was essentially born in & indoctrinated from youth.
i was always a borderline "bad association" type because i always did the minimum and always disagreed with much of what was taught; even when i was a child.. luckily for me my father was never a jw so i never had to endure the male head pressure.
