Does God speak to you? HOW?
by Quentin inan answer to this question is subjective to the individual an a posteriori experiene.
however, can there be an a priori experence, one that is objective, outside the bounds of personel experiene, or does it remain subjective?
god speaks to me, through many venus, except audible.

Have you given up on humanity?
by d ini was thinking to myself today, people suck humans suck.i know that when i was younger i used to see myself helpng people.but now i could care less.the reason is because in reality things will never get better.i am not saying god is going to help us.i do not believe in god.i feel that no mattr what charity you give to an organization in the end it is all futile and pointless.this life we live is hard and can seem pointless.does anybody else feel that way..

I'm going to echo part of Syl's comment but I have to say that when my child was born I saw God. My wife's pregnancy was a rough one, as a matter of fact the pregnancy is why she just got her kidney transplant. She got preeclampsyia (think it's spelled right) and spent 29 days in the hospital. I was working night-shift in a plastic pipe factory (Can-Tex, you know about that one huh Quentin?) and needless to say it was roughgoing there for a while.
Well, the day they finally decided to do the C-Section was frightening because I didn't know for sure that his lungs would be developed. The Doc had shown quite a bit of concern about that and so we were worried with good reason.
Well, long story short, I'm sitting in the surgery room gowned out and scared as hell. When I finally saw the Dr. lift my child up and he started crying LOUDLY I saw the face of God. It was so beautiful.
By the way, the boy hasn't shut up since and it's been 11 years. I still see God when I look at him.

Communism doesn't have a dog in the hunt. It's a myth that doesn't exist. A wonderful idea that's impossible to implement.
End of discussion on Communism.
Oh yeah, of course, one random guy comes along & says that he doesn't think communism would ever work, even though it has never even been tried out (according to him).. & that ends the discussion.
Wow, i'd love to debate you. That would be a right ball!
"Hey, i agree with what he just said.. end discussion!"
YAAYYYY!!! I'm random! I'm so happy that I'm random and not some special work of God.

What? It's Mexico for crying out loud. The evil US government has been pouring guns into Mexico since the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, at least that's what the newsies tell me. Surely you can find one at a roadside vegetable stand or taqueria.
Sorry, hope you're safe.

The classic features of a JW wedding are:
by highdose infirstly a wedding/sales talk that mostly features heavily on how the woman should behave (hint, doormat) and lightly brushes over the fact of the husbands bevhaviour ( oh yeah he should treat her well).
the reception normaly at some crummy comunity hall with yellowed ceilings and chucks of damp plaster falling off the walls.
the seats normaly arranged facing eachother all around the edge, so that theres a huge unused space in the middle and everyone is climbing over everyone elses legs to get to their chair.. a big spread donated by everyone, normaly an ode to food poisoning.

The ones I went to and was in weren't bad. Oh yeah, you had the dull ass talk but mostly we had coolers with beer outside of the receptions that we emptied pretty quickly. Don't recall much else except for a hook-up or two. Those coolers of beer will do that to you. :)

Communism doesn't have a dog in the hunt. It's a myth that doesn't exist. A wonderful idea that's impossible to implement. There are no Communist governments and there never have been. There are only dictatorships masquerading as Communist regimes, even if some are dictatorships by committee.
