This Saturday me and my lady friend went to go see the movie "Harrison's Flowers."
MAN, THIS HAS TO BE THE WORSE MOVIE I HAVE SEEN SO FAR THIS YEAR!!!!!!
OK, the plot has to do with a woman (played by Andie Macdowell) who's husband is sent to Bosnia cover the war there in 1991. Later it is discovered that the building where he was at was bombed and it is believed that he is dead. However, she refuses to believe this and she goes to Bosnia to try to find him.
While in Bosnia she meet several people who knew her husband. She wants to go to the village where her husband was last seen. Even though everybody there is being killed about five or six people agree to go with her. (Call me a wuss, but if this was me and she asked me to go over there, I would say "Good luck, toots. I'm atta here!") Of course, even though people are being slaughtered left and right, she is never touched. I HATE IT WHEN A MOVIE TRIES TO INSULT MY INTELLIGENCE!!!
I won't say whether she finds her husband or not, but this movie was just bad. Even my lady friend, who usually likes these kinds of chick flicks, hated this.
