The reason I originally left the org was because of the blood issue. It never personally affected my life, but I always felt it was wrong.

((((happy healing hugs))))
My goodness! I looks like someone should go on that site and tell this Witness the truth about "the truth." Perhaps something about blood transfusions, 1914, 1925, 1975, pedophiles, and shunning should scare her.

I am 28, but I am learning so many new things that sometimes I fell like I am 14.

i left almost nine years ago at age 18; my only real regret was that i was good friends with a young brother and i never said goodbye to him, or even let him know that i was planning to leave (had to leave my parents' home secretly while they were at the meeting one sunday; they had such a hold over me that i could never have stood up to them and told them beforehand).
.
i have no other regrets about leaving; i'm am now happily agnostic and so thankful that i found the strength to break free.. anyone have any similar regrets?
I left last year at the age of 27. The only thing I regret is that I did not leave sooner and that I didn't tell off some of the people who I saw participate in hypocrasy that I saw.

come on boys, tell me what is your fascination with clevage?
do you dream of big breasts?
does the cup size really matter?
butalbee, I really don't care about a woman's breast size. When I first notice a woman I tend to look at her eyes or her feet.

of witnesses?
haven't they told us that "witnesses are the happiest people.
that witnesses are.
metatron, of course the society won't let their members participate in some survey!
After the Dateline story airs, the las thing they will want is more negative publicity.

this weekend i went out with my lady friend.
we were talking about places that we wanted to travel to and about her birthday on march 15. we were talking about miami when i jokingly mentioned, "wouldn't it be cool if me and you could go to miami for your birthday?
" it was just a joke, but much to my surprise she told me, "yeah that would be a great idea!
hungry4life, my lady friend pays her own share everytime we go out, and she owns three small businesses of her own, so I am sure that she will not expect me to pay for all the trip.
puzzled, HELL YEAH SHE'S ATTRACTIVE! She will be turning 44, but looks like she could pass for being in her late 20s or early 30s.
Another reason why she maybe holding back (which I forgot to mention) is that she is 43 and I am 28. That could be the reason she holds back (assuming she has any romantic feeling for me in the first place.)

is it still through his stomach like my mom taught me?
come on guys fess up....do you want a woman who can cook?
personally i love cooking...something about being in a hot kitchen...kneading bread...the way it feels under your hands...then sticking it in a hot oven and watching it rise...slathering butter all over it and eating it with your fingers...uuummm is there anything better?
Xena, I really don't care if a woman can cook or not! As long as she is a good person and there is chemistry, that is fine with me.
