MY PROJECT IS (FINALLY) FINISHED!

for those of you who are interested, the project i've been working on for the last few months is finally finished.

it seems that alot of us still have family members in the religion and have not infrequent arguments with them about some of the beliefs and practices.

in this thread i mentioned having a long chat with an elder last summer.

i didn't realize i had never posted the story, so here it is.. last summer (when i went to buy my new camera lens) i ran into one of my favorite jws at the photography shop.

he was buying a camera bag for his new dslr, and i saw him, went up and greeted him, hugged him.

Dr. Phil does a show on religious cults / brainwashing--tell him about JWs!

Awesome! I wrote to the Dr. Phil show the day after I heard about the elder blowing himself up and the KH asking him to do a show on cults like the JW's. Hopefully some people will write and be willing to participate! Would love to get some very negative press on the JW's!

it is has been quite disturbing reading all the stories on jwd.

it is truly sickening.. i am curious if anyone has pursued getting negative tv exposure about the jehovah's witnesses and their practices?.
