  Jehovah's pre-recorded word is what determines the final outcome of events and He has already called the finale from the beginning.

  Wouldn't this make Jehovah and his pre-recorded word the ultimate weapon of terror?

  i thought it might be a good idea to find out at what age or after how long we descided to leave the watchtower.. prehaps we my find a patern in it which we could use .. i think what we need to know are ,.

  1. Some doubts beginning at about age 15.
  DFed in 1982.
  Reinstated in 1984.
  DFed in 1987. Still mostly believed. (Yes, I'm a slow learner.)
  Left the WT mentally in 1995 when I found info on the net.

  2. Baptized at age 11.

  3. My parents began studying when I was 5. I count that as being brought up in it.

  its strange how you can always remember where you were when you first learn about a cataclysmic event.

  9-11 being the most recent case, or 11-9 in the uk.

  theres been other times, of course, jfks assassination being the most well recalled event up until the wtc affair.. but, i can actually remember what i was doing at this very hour 50 years ago to the day.

  the 70s passed by in a haze of bad fashions and flaccid watchtower excess.

  i tried hard to be bright-boy, thinking somehow that i was pleasing the inhabitants of heaven by doing so, and was rapidly pushed up jacobs corporate ladder, somehow without ever having to put my foot on a rung.

  regular pioneer, ms, infant elder, special pioneer, temporary co, special branch assignments, they dropped on me with a rapidity that took away my senses.

  a quick introduction then on to my 2nd post *smiles*.... general greetings & well wishes.....i'm new to jwd, but not new to xjw/jw chat.

  i'm 36 years old (and yes...i'm wearing a bonnet and a pink outfit in my pic) (that means i'm a chick for all you lusty men)i've spent the last 3.5 years online laughing, crying, generally healing from my watchtower divorce.

  so now that i've let go of all the spit n venom...i sit here worried that my posts will lack the sarcasm and general wicked tone necessary to keep your interest...maybe i should invest in some semi-nude glamour shots?

  if god created man,why is the modern vocal tract posited so people are more likely to choke to death.. cf.

  the position of the larynx means that modern humans are more likelier to choke to death.. would a loving god create man in such a way that he would be likely to choke to death

  At the very least, I wish religions were required to use disclosure statements similar to ones used by credit card companies and insurance companies. Investment firms are required to offer a prospectus--why not religions? Even a warning label like the one on cigarettes would help.
