cup cake sweet heart please do lots of objective research about jehovahs witnesses i wish i had been able to when i was a study then perhaps my daughter would not of been raped by a ex min servant that had also abused kids as a min servant but had only been reprooved instead of reported to the police , you can still have a faith in god without being a jw , the time i suffered depression was as a "study " i never got baptised !

i used to feel just like you when i was a study , i thought my new "friends " were great ! funny how i never saw them for dust when i found out one of thems husband had raped and abused my 13 year old daughter ! of course i involved the police unlike all the jws that knew for years he was an abuser but obviously didnt want to" bring shame on jehovahs name " by reporting him .not one of them contacted me to say sorry after the court case was over , but im sure a very few would have done if they had been "allowed " by their fruits you shall know them !!!!!!!they are not gods representatives i can assure you ! i could write a book ! god looks at hearts im sure not religions that people just happen to belong to , im sure you have a good heart , good luck in your search for truth x im an ex study not raised in the cult and im married to a disfellowshipped man and we have a 7 year old daughter together whos grandparents and aunties and uncles dont bother with ! how christian ! and what a fine "witness" to my child !!!!

i know of other people from the same generation (lol!
) and it seemed to be somewhat common during that time period within the organization.. i also remember wearing a lot of second hand clothing and having pretty dismal school lunches and we were simply not allowed to ask for anything - needs or wants.

head in a spin , you were only six months old when an elder decided you needed a spanking ? omg thats appauling what a weirdo if he thought an innocent baby needed discipline ! my jw mother inlaw used to get pins stuck in her legs at the meetings if she didnt stay still as a child !!!!! didnt put her off though !

i never ever got smacked as a child growing up in the 70s and 80s , but i was not raised a jw ! nor was i naughty according to my mum , a raised voice would be enough for me to do what i had to do , my mum was very sweet and a lovely lady i did know people who got beaten though , and belted (literally ) you have a pm head in a spin hows your book reading coming on hun ? xx

me and my husband and 2 children stopped going nearly a year ago after numerous issues, and basic doubts.
while we were in the cong i had an 'incident' with a brother who claimed to love me and wanted to leave his wife for me.

i know exactly what you mean , about how angry it makes you , a disfelowshipped friends mum believes im a bad influence on her daughter as im a "wicked apostate " her daughter since leaving the truth has done many things such as tatoos, body piercing , sleeping around and im very fond of this girl but feel she is rebelling late in life as she wasnt able to do so as a teen in a cult , then an abusive marriage . what really pissed me off is when she told her daughter (my friend ) that the ex min servant who raped my 13 year old daughter aswell as others in the congreagation was not an actual paedoplhile !!!!!!! (she is friends with the child abusers sisters ) the reason he is ok is because he still believes in "the truth " and my friend and i dont (i believe in god but my friend is athiest !) so sister nutcase thinks that never mind if you rape children you have known since babies so long as you "love jehovah " !!!!!!! wouldnt even waste pen and ink writing to that mad cow to give her a piece of my sane mind , just pity your mates mum like i do because they sound equally bonkers ! enjoy your life now love looloo x
