  i'm sort of angry right now.. no, not angry..... i'm shaky.

  at least, when i lift my cup of coffee to my lips, sitting here at starbucks, my hand is trembly.. i hate that!.

  the power they have to still reach me on some hidden point that hides in the corners of my very being.... .

  terry , you did great in your response , i always start to shake like a leaf when i spot one and actually taliking to them makes me panic but i usually try to talk to them with respect also im sure it works better than being rude ! i would love to read a book of yours ! well done x

  i need to know if jehovahs witnesses are actually told to ....

  completly ignore disfellowshipped children and never speak at all to them , also what about the children of the disfellowshipped children that are growing up unaware of the "truth " ?

  im thinking of writing to my inlaws who have never bothered with our child for two and a half years to tell them to just walk on by if they see us as it would confuse her if they saw us and acted as though nothing has happened .

  then they will be good jws and obediant to the watchtower and not blame us for not letting them see her which is what they lie and tell people !.

  so if someone was really obeying the rules they should totally ignore and not just speak when nobody else is watching ? my husbands parents still talk to him occaisionally but never visit our home despite having been invited in the past , i have tried many ways to get them to see the reality of what they are doing but to no avail and now its just too late ! i dont want thier sicko religion messing up my childs mind ever ! like it did mine and my husbands . i now actually want them to ignore us all . and by doing so they will be good jws ! problem solved !

  The two witness rule on child abuse still makes my blood boil

  today while i was working i remembered a wt on there having to be two witness to a person who comes forward later in life saying he had been molested as a chld and i was thinking no it really could not have been to blatant like i remembered it.

  sadly i did find it and no i remembered it right.

  it to me is sick!

  this makes me so angry ! my daughter was raped and abused mentaly physically and sexually because the stupid religion being more bothered about their reputation and not reporting a child abuser years earlier to the police when they knewhe had abused a girl in the congregation ! my daughter could have been spared her life sentence had they not reprooved him ! but reported him to the police !

  out shopping this afternoon and as we walk past ''build a bear'' babysprout rushed inside and grabs a smurf!

  she starts pleading saying she wants one.... now i have heard a lot of horror stories regarding smurfs, and if i buy one will i be waking up to find a smurf dancing infront of the wardrobe??

  in the uk it was the ''lucky trolls'' that were demonised so we had no reason to worry about smurfs... why would we, we were too busy trying to eradicate all the trolls.

  i was shopping in hull today and noticed build a bears window which made me chuckle ! there was lots of smurfs in clintons also !

  Aspergers anyone?

  there's a young man here in new zealand with aspergers syndrome who fell foul of the law in unusual circumstances .

  i think my brother in his 40s has aspergers and have spent two years trying to persuade my mother to tell him ! shes too scared to tell him but i think it would help him as people think hes weird because of his odd behaviors and has been picked on , the police arrested him one day when someone jumped on him making out he was doing a ctizens arrest and my brother was accused of trying to abduct a child in the town but cctv prooved the allegations

  were false after his arrest and questioning and his home being searched etc ... i feel so sorry for him .

  i have read articles about peter sutcliffe (he brutally killed 13 women in the north of england in the 70s ) becoming a jehovahs witness in broadmoor and jehovahs witnesses have commented about him being a "changed man " etc and also the man who is serving 5 years for his part in the death of baby p becoming a jehovahs witness , i commented to my husband that his mum (jw ) would technically feel more comfortable having a chat and a coffee with them (because they love "the truth" ) than her own disfellowshipped children !

  does this kind of story annoy those of you who are slandered for being "apostate" etc by family ?

  and why dosnt it make die hard jws see the craziness of it all ?.

  many are young people that simply go through the motions until they can free themselves .

  others have relatives or family still trapped .

  i knew a bloke who despite having sexually abused at least 3 girls in the congregation for years and having been only reprooved for the first one loved to spout on about "the truth " this "satan is control of this world " etc ... even after being disfellowshipped for his "relationship " with one of these girls he still was such a hypocrite , referring to his own daughter as a slut for going clubbing and having a boyfriend ! he went on to abuse my daughter eventually ( iwas not aware of him being a child molster untill after my daughter told me what had happened to her and the police investigated ) he actually talked about "the truth" more than any witness i knew ! good cover i think !
