  Child Abuse Registry Checks in Canada for Elders?

  i have been following steven unthank's case in australia and it got me to wondering about the laws in canada.

  so, i sent a letter to the canadian centre for child protection to find out if religious leaders in canada are required to undergo any type of criminal child abuse registry check.

  i am a caretaker for a building and my husband and i had to have these checks done, so it makes sense the 'elders' would have to as well.

  Field Service time wasters

  last saturday morning, i ran to the hardware store.

  a former co (retired in a circuit provided house) was in the hardware store.

  i stopped at starbucks....more jw's.

  i saw them last week wandering as slow as possible outside my house (im a do not call that for once they respected ) one women with a disturbed look on her face as she passed my house looked so miserable and fed up . they dont want anyone to answer the door but just be seen to be doing what is expected of them !

  With this weekend being 9-11 I have a question to ask all of you.

  when flight 93 went down in shanksville pa it was due to the fact the passagers stood up against the terrorist and overcame them and brought the plane down so it would not do any harm to anyone else.

  what if flight 93 was full of jw's going to a convention instead.

  would they have fought off the terrorist to stop them from harming anyone else?

  i trusted someone with my daughter once who was a "good friend " despite having heard "rumours " about him , when she was 13 he raped her !

  i could never understand what was "good " about the "good news "

  as someone recruited in my 20s and spent about 6 years "interested " though never baptised , i just felt depressed after the lovebombing i received at first , i felt trapped by knowing "the truth" and wished i hadnt heard about it .

  i couldnt understand what was good news about billions of innocents dying including poor children who have suffered enough in countries where there is famine etc... and all my relatives were doomed along with them !

  i was a much happier person before i met jws believing you go to heaven after your death and live with god jesus and your loved ones .

  who believes in reincarnation ? my 7 year old told me " mummy did you know that we have all been here before but we just forget "!

  i asked her who told her that as i knew the school would not have covered that subject , she replied " nobody told me , i just know it "!

  i have heard that children have a better memory of that kind of thing but i was still amazed !.

  jam , the book i have read on reincarnation describes heaven as home and a wonderful place but each person chooses to come back and chooses the kind of life we will have good or bad as a way of learning , it is only a short time period we are gone from home on earth as the time is not the same as on earth , the book is called life on the other side , its very interesting and a comfort .

  low key , ive read about the dreams thing that you described and what happens to you is very common and apparently when you sleep you are most likely to remember past lives as your mind is more "open "
