I'm wondering what you all think.
Should cult members be allowed to adopt or be foster parents?

No. But, the definition of 'cult' is vague. I consider the JWs to be a cult, but I don't think they are officially listed as such....not sure.

In the case of JWs, it just occurs to me that I have never heard of a JW couple attempting an adoption.
Nor have I ever heard of anything said on the subject from the all-knowing Watchtower.

It's not because somebody is a cult member that they are evil. They are merely misguided and to limit their activities in society based on their belief system would allow for atrocious activities to take place (such as the Fox audience calling to kill all non-Christians in the US).
That would mean you would exclude adoptions to 15-30% of Americans since the rest are all members of some sort of cult (whether they be Christian, Islamic or something else)

I didn't want this to have to become a discussion on "what is a cult?" We've had those. I figured this is JWN and everyone knows than "cult" = JWs.
My bad for not being specific enough.
Should Jehovah's Witnesses be allowed to adopt or be foster parents?

Tough question. My ultimate answer would have to be yes.

I have seen jw couples adopt. They got children from other countries, not so many rules in some cases.

Yes. Only if the kids are allowed to carry loaded guns.
