The Watchtower is not invincible
by Coded Logic indespite claims to the contrary, there's no guarantee the watchtower will be around in a few decades time.
and it seems to me there's ever mounting evidence that the opposite may well be true.
but it's not just that recruitment is down and their defectors are up.

There has been close to a 40% decline in printed material in the last decade. Hard to say what will happen in the next few years. Maybe a total decline in printed material, but with everything only on tablets or streaming videos at KHs. But only KHs or Assembly Halls at centralized locations. Mega Congregations.

Almost £1/4 million siphoned off?
by The Searcher inaccording to charity commission records - http://apps.charitycommission.gov.uk/accounts/ends60/0001065860_ac_20120331_e_c.pdf - the chelsea & kensington kingdom hall in the centre of london had in 2012, "funds-on-deposit arrangement to branch" which amounted to 220,000.. i wonder how much they still have "on deposit", and how the fleeced sheep in that congregation are feeling now?

They have to get the money somehow to pay out all the paedophile victims.
ARC alone likely to recommend $10k minimum compensation each for the 1000+ victims who the WBTS never reported to the police. Or an equivalent class action amount.
The WBTS is facing financial ruination in Australia, and this is just the beginning.

Reveal News: How Jehovah’s Witness leaders are responding to child abuse scrutiny by Trey Bundy

What a thing to say..."just ignore it and it will die."
Disgusting and outrageous disregard for the suffering of child victims.
Complete immoral contempt for paedophile victims. Suffer the little children...just let them die!
What is the litmus test for pure worship according to the Bible, per the book of James? How did Jesus treat children and how did he respond to those that wanted to shove them aside as if nothing but pests?
If there is a hell, may David Asshole Splane rot in it.

Update on everything going on in JW Land - Insider Information
by thedepressedsoul ini'd like to start off by saying that i will be very vague in everything i say.

Nothing new here really that hasn't already been surmised or confirmed on this forum already. It's like a concise summary of most of the more important/topical stuff discussed on this forum recently.
Are you talking from the perspective of being a current bethelite or a CO or what?
How high up are you really, thedepressedsoul?

Wish you were right but, sorry, this is wishful thinking. Nothing, I mean nothing, will ever cause the demise of the JW organisation except if the Watchtower Society self destructed by doing the same as the post Herbert Armstrong WCOG by recanting from its core doctrines in favour of Christendoms orthodox dogmas. -

OK friends lets be honest, if a Nuclear Holocaust took place today how many of you would return to the KH?
by James Mixon inspeaking for my self, no way in hell.. this question to see if you really have been deprogramed,.
do you 100% believe it is not the truth.. a fourth of the world hit by a nuclear attack..
-
fukitol
Quite the opposite. If a 'loving heavenly father' who 'so loved the world' allowed a nuclear holocaust to occur, it would only prove one thing: that he doesn't exist!
In fact, this has effectively already happened with the atomic bombs dropped on Hiroshima. If God wouldn't intervene to stop that (and countless other genocidal events in history) then why the f*ck do Christians believe he will ever intervene for anything?
The evidence is unmistakable. The Biblical God simply doesn't exist. And if we are the progeny of something higher than ourselves, whether alien or whatever, it clearly has about as much interest in us as we do in a termite nest in the Sahara.

Blood Refusal Tragedy Sparks National Outrage
by cookiemaster inso, here's some news from my country.
there was this 20 year old jw girl who was a rookie driver.
she was in the car with her parents and for some reason decided to cross a railroad right before a train was coming.

Child sacrifice is alive and well in the Watchtower organisation. Baal worshippers eat your heart out. Jehovah craves your child's soul rather than a blood transfusion. The high places of Topheth are alive and well in the Watchtower idol organization. -

She found it 'profound' to buy and eat a candy bar autonomously as if it's some kind of adult experience .
You must be either 8 years old or Amish.

The KEY WORD in Isaiah 44:25-26 is "Predictions" and the apostles NEVER made any predictions setting dates.
by Greybeard inisaiah 44:25-26, i am frustrating the signs of the empty talkers, and i am the one who makes diviners act like fools; the one confounding the wise men and turning their knowledge into foolishness; the one making the word of his servant come true and completely fulfilling the predictions of his messengers.
the record shows your words and many predictions did not come true.
again, the key word in isaiah 44:25-26 is "predictions" and the apostles never made any predictions ever.

Excellent if you believe in the Bible. But for the more enlightened among us.....every miracle or purported divine proclamation in the OT is a lie, pure pious fraud.
Oh sure, I really truly believe that the silly old fables and scary stories of ancient Jewish priests and scribes was real historical truth and divine messages. Just like I still believe Santa is real.
