'great crowd' are in the temple (naos) but not in the new covenant???
by fukitol inin one of the biggest about-faces in watchtower history, in a 2002 question from readers it was admitted that the great crowd is indeed in the temple itself (naos) in revelation 7. .
but notice the statement bolded below from that article comparing the great crowd to the proselytes in ancient israel.
the statement is made that the proselytes "submitted to the law covenant.

LOL.
OMG OMG if the rank and file are permitted to start taking the emblems they'll get "Jesus feelings" and the "Jesus bug" and it'll be fatal to the shit-scared GB. You really do talk a lot of shite sometimes DD.

Might be the end of door to door work as we know it. The Society aren't stupid (although they are). They've anticipated this.
Why do you think they've started their own TV channel, created street cart witnessing, turned JW's into nothing more than junk mail deliverers?

Having Faith in the Bible
by william draper ini know many on here have lost faith in the bible , is it possible that is because ones do not have the right perspective regarding it .
we have usually been taught by bad teachers , or ignorant .
i believe if we take an honest look at the bible , we will see that it gives us the best answers to crucial matters , it gives us some amount of bearings ( understanding ) , which without having such knowledge we would all be more like walking zombies in amanner of speaking , we would be lacking hope in something better , for surely something better is to come , how can we be sure , .

...which without having such knowledge we would all be more like walking zombies in amanner of speaking , we would be lacking hope in something better , for surely something better is to come , how can we be sure ,
LMAO.
We have ourselves as our hope for the future. The potential for the human race is almost unlimited in what it can learn and achieve scientifically, medically, socially, you name it. Hey, even the Bible says God admitted there is nothing we can't achieve before he confused our languages at the tower of Babel (thanks God).
Look at all the ignorant, zombie-like Muslims still living like it is 600AD, sticking their ass up in the air 5 times a day. They are obeying thir ancient holy scripture, convinced there is no future hope without it.

Why did God permit Scriptures to be corrupted?
by economy inif someone informs you that your shop caught fire, and firefighters are on the job, you will run to the spot.
however, if you had already sold that property on the previous day (which this messenger is ignorant of), you are likely to respond, saying: shop is not mine..
situation is same with god.

Is there some ban on Banarama Kumaris on this forum?
God didn't permit squat. The Bible is a frikken BOOK written by ancient, ignorant, Jewish priests and scribes who made up scary stories of a vengeful, angry deity called YHWH to keep the people in FEAR and OBEDIENCE.
Now get a life and move on.

Jehovah Witnesses accept 2000 year old Scripture , yet reject writings of C.T.Russell the founder of the religion.of 136 years ago.?
by smiddy inis not this ironic ?
that they can claim to believe something that was written 2000 years ago and base their life and some cases their death on it , yet disown writings of the modern day founders of their religion such as c.t.russell , the so called first president of the i.b.s.a.
, later re-named jehovah witness.. and the same fate awaits the so called second president of now re-named jehovah witnesses ,if the writings ,books ,tracts ,etc .still exist in the library you sooner or later will be quizzed as to why you want to read them , it will be discouraged , and if you persist you will be brought before the elders .. so what are they afraid of people learning ?

They don't 'disown' their beginnings. They still believe the core teachings of Russell and Rutherford re mortal soul, no hell, no trinity, etc. Nevertheless, Russell and Rutherford would be disfellowshipped today if they were resurrected in the org and still preached what they preached back then. -

What a vile, repulsive organisation, unashamedly claiming to the end they had no duty to protect a child from a KNOWN paedophile all the way through this case.
They remain completely arrogant and unapologetic for what they've done and have put this poor woman through the mill legally. It wouldn't surprise me if their sheer hubris makes them appeal still, tormenting Candice even more. Even the Catholic Church is less arrogant on this.
Truly, "by their fruits you will recognise them". Can there be any more rotten fruitage than a religion that unrepentantly harms and causes deaths of infants and children by their morally blind and fanatical religious policies. .
I spit on the Watchtower leadership and their lawyers. Pure scum. I'm ashamed to have ever been a JW.

So have all the numerous bits of 'new light' and doctrinal changes in recent years been 'admitting mistakes' Data-Dog? Don't be naive - the rank and file only see these things as 'new light' not 'mistakes'.
The Society has made so many changes relatively recently and nobody even blinks amongst the rank and file, eg, the new ludicrous overlapping generation teaching is unrecognizable from 20 years ago.
JW's will swallow anything as 'new light' from heaven with glee uncritically and without question as long as it's spun the right way.

"Life is SO HARD!!" The martyrdom and moaning of the April broadcast!
by stuckinarut2 inoh man!.
the april broadcast is so manipulative when it speaks about enduring.
the very premise makes witnesses feel burdened with a martyrdom and heavy hearted complex!

Jesus said his yoke was kindly and his load was light but that his followers must carry a torture stake. Go figure.
