  Can’t cope with being disfellowshipped…..Need some advice

  this site is great, i have been lurking for a while now.

  but i can’t get reinstated and have used some of the advice already given.. i was df’d many months ago and go to all the meetings and do all the preparation for the meetings, but the jc committee keep refusing me.

  tomorrow at the clam meeting i am puting yet another letter in and will be called for another dreadful jc meeting.. 1. what can i say to the elders to show that i am truly repentant?.

  Sun,moon, earth and mathematics .

  just thought id let you all in on some info i found on northeasttruth.com.

  that magical moment where the moon blocks out the sun!

  but only just enough to perfectly cover the suns disc, whilst still allowing us to see the corona of light and other electromagnetic forces radiating from it.. this only happens because the moon diameter is exactly 1/400th the size of the suns and is positioned at exactly 1/400th of the distance between earth and the sun!so, when we see it from the surface of earth, we are in the only place this can ever be seen, at the only time it could ever happen.

  Religious belief and the angry God phenomenon has caused chaos, destruction, death, and wars for centuries. The time for evolving into a modern society and classifying these archaic beliefs as a mental disorder has been long overdue.

  never a jw, but have had bible studies and attended several meetings and even a convention once.

  i've always been agnostic with leanings toward the belief in some deity or other, although the more i learned from the jw's, the more i've learned to doubt, not just their teachings, but the fundamental teachings of all religions.

  If there is a God it's totally aloof, non-communicative, non-intervening. Not the slightest bit of evidence it notices us or cares. And if it is watching us, it has no morality since it does nothing to stop evil and suffering. So it may as well not exist.
