You Know, Do you know you are breaking one of the wts rules by even being in here? Let's see I believe that I remember where it says "those who are faithful in little will also be faithful in much" you are not being faithful when you are in here talking to us. If you are a jw please don't be a hypocrite, that is the main reason I left the wts because I wasn't doing everything just so and I felt like I was being a hypocrite and I know God hates a hypocrite worse than anything so think long and hard before you have any more to do with us poor sinners. Worry about yourself you have your hands full doing that.

Jon, I am lmao ABOUT THAT SIZE 12 hoof OMG I can see it now and I bet her heels had all the covering peeled off. Or that is the way most of the "sisters" wore their heels at my hall when I went. My husband really told the overseer of the kh . It was right before christmas and I had all the decorations up so he pulls up in back of our truck as Tom was unloading presents and makes a comment about ME decorating the house. OMG did he EVER get told a thing or two I still laugh when I think about it.

Thirdson, LMAO that was a scream I think that won the prize! the one that really got me was when my friends sisters-in-law were studying and they were poor so couldn't buy new clothes for themselves and their kids. So they wore denim skirts to the meeting and one of the elders got up on stage and counseled them on wearing denim skirts!!!!!! They were not even jw's just studying I couldn't believe it!!!! I'm sure God doesn't care what you wear as the bible says he looks at the heart!

Holidays: Do you celebrate?

anyway, one thing i always missed were the holidays-christmas especially.
i know that this is an unproven celebration to say the least, but i have always loved the warmth and beauty of this holiday, although very commercialized in this day and age.

Oh my!!!!!!!!!!! I love the holidays!!!!!!!!!! I decorate like crazy I didn't realize how depressing life was without them until I started living again!!!!! Now we get together with our kids and their families every holiday and we have sooooo much fun because we are free to be ourselves! I am itching to get out everything for holloween!Oh and as several have brought out christmas is the best so warm and fuzzy with the lights and all that goes with it! I am so glad I quit the hall and all the baggage that goes with it! I'm free,I'm free thank God I'm free!

by Simon inkeeping a balance in what is allowed and what is not is very difficult and is more difficult if i have to take action against one person when i have let other things go by others.. it would help a lot if we could stop the personal attacks and some of the name calling & insults that are thrown about.
i know personalities do and will clash but please disagree about the subjects being discussed and not get personal!.
if you think someone is deliberately trying to cause arguments please do not respond to them as this is giving in to what they want.

Oh yes one more thought . Would Jesus have treated people the way friday did? I can say heavens NO he had love and compassion for people he considered sinners, he spent most of his time with the sinners and he loved them why he even died for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He only came in here to cause trouble, and you did him a favor because the borg says he shouldn't be speaking to us ,right?
