  here's a paragraph from a friend who is active.

  they say it's important that we fill out this form about emergencies... poor fools.

  "hi, i have been meaning to tell you that the society is telling us to fill out an emergency form that the book study conductors have and return it to them in case of an emergency.they will then give us a brochure to have that will tell us where to meet and what to have in our bags so we can grab them and leave in a hurry.

  I am sooooooo glad that I am not attending any longer. They continue to put the hype into you about what IF? Common sense dictates to be prepared, moderately. Natural disasters do happen, man made ones also. I grew up in the time when people were building fall out shelters in their backyards. I also served in the military and we would have alerts and everyone would rush to the shelters on the base. They were well stocked with large caches of foodstuffs and water. The government does it so should we. But the society likes to keep up the siege mentality hype and to keep the dubs thinking that something will happen at any time. Mostly, it's the great trib. hype. Personnaly, I have a sufficient back up of personal items and food stuffs, water etc. Most importantly I have a well stocked arsenal, assault weapons, semi-auto hand guns. I am also licensed to carry a concealed weapon. DON'T COME KNOCKING AT 3 IN THE MORNING.....

  Wait, I'm still burning on this one. Let's go back, 30, 40, 50 years. WE slaved for the FDS and gave them our hard earned money, sacrificed more than enough of our SPARE? time, sacrificed many opportunities to better our means of life. They told us that the new system was just around the corner, then they said it was right in front of us. They discouraged so many of our faithful parents and grand parents from investing their money in legitimate professional investment institutions.What do any of US have to show for our investments in THEM, fds???BURNT TOAST! Lost dreams, unfulfilled promises, based on what??? Calculations of presumed dates, prophetic promises, man made SCHEMES is all. Tell me this, when do we start getting our financial dividends brothers???We supported you, now who will support us? Faith? In what? The wbts? You've got all the $$$ PAY UP! Sorry we don't take plastic.

  don't get me wrong i am not slighting the incarceration of j. witnesses in the concentration camps but i recently read an article in the wacktower about the suffering endured in the concentration camps.. thanks were profusely given to jehovah and for the fortitude of the brothers and sisters during that terrible time but glaringly not one word of thanks,not one word in recognition of what the allies sacrificed and did was mentioned .no mention at all of any soldier ,sailor or airman laying down their life to rescue the inmates of those hell holes.. do the governing body really believe that no thanks are called for on behalf of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice ?

  how can anyone show respect for that crazy cult .do they really believe that jesus is going into battle on their side when they so disregard what others have done for them ?

  according to their twisted logic god is going to destroy those veterans who are now old who way back when came to the rescue..

  Thank you Edmond. My father, now deceased , was omongst the troops that liberated one of the concentration camps. He never once spoke of his service there or of his expierences. As my mother once told me he, he just CHOSE to forget about the horrors he witnessed. Thank you again
