  Eggplants, Like it?

  i was watching foodtv, and the host was talking about eggplants, and.

  i don't remember ever eating eggplants, i wonder what they taste like.. .

  is it bitter, salty, or taste like squash or what?.

  a REAL fan of fried eggplant here,
  (crushed saltines insted of bread crumbs)
  plus i love eggplant parmigiana

  i even grow the stuff in my garden
  (when i have a garden)!

  most of us spent years or decades in an organization that hurled tons of invective against their "enemies" (everyone else was their enemy).

  13 months later.

  probably 1500 applications/resumes online and in person.. it is not a great job - flippin' burgers - and the distance is a bit more than we wanted for her to drive - but we are thankful!

  they mentioned possible management in the interview - so perhaps it can grow over time.. anyway - it will help keep the wolves off the doors.

  hey,.

  this is my first post on this forum after months of reading and lurking on here.

  i'm glad to be able to say that my husband and i finally sent our letter saying we want out and are wait to hear back for a potential jc meeting--that we won't be attending.. we had so many doubts it was impossible for us to continue living the lie.

  how many times have we all seen that sign in the minstry?

  also " no salesman" , " no harkers" etc.

  in my congo it was the policy to ignore these completly, the poor people who just wanted to be left alone never had a chance.. i on the otherhand used to use it as an exhuse to fast forward on to the next house and finish up the ministry quicker.... what was your experiance?.

  since we have had it recently proved that we are indeed being watched and monitored by the suits at bethal, i thought it would be fun to start a thread just for sending messages to these people... we can be sure they will be read;).

  junior year for #4....

  my fave "back to school" cartoon
  was in a daily paper....

  mom and 2 boys in kitchen,
  she reciting the litany: coats,
  lunches, backpacks yada

  next frame they are out on the stoop,
  but the older one says: wait a minute,
  i forgot my ________ ( something?)

  last frame: he returns wide-eyed
  and remarks " i didnt know mama
  could do cartwheels"

  or reasons, including living

  not ideal, as there is a
  definite downside to not
  being in a face to face
  environment with the instructors
  and the social isolation is a factor
  as well....
