MIL letter to my wife

our kids are in college, also inactive but are baptised.
my wife went back to college, getting her degree this month at age 48!

im not the best person to answer this cause i dont play around with this kind of BS anymore. this is what i would write:
"Im sorry to hear of your decision. Our door will always be open to you if you change your mind. I hope your anniversay goes well. If this is the last time you speak to us then we love you, always have, always will. May the rest of your years be well. Good bye."
Then move on with your life.
(i know, thats kind of black and white and harsh, im just done with all JW BS, i got no time for it.)

Lot's of talk on the July Watchtower?
by noonehome inso i've heard lots of talk from within about the 'new light' in this watchtower...i'm yet to look at it in any detail.
i'm kind of surprised actually...i first heard about it here before it was even available but close to the time it did come out people started bringing it up - even our co.. some say things like "have you heard about this?
" or "big changes," or "allot of things they said we believed, i didn't realize,"(lots of that) or "brain-overload" or " too much information, but i've never felt more pumped up" or "it's soo exciting to see jehovah's spirit lead his organization..." or "it requires time to sink in, but it's a good feeling!

is it me or does it say to keep the "little ones" among the women? so they were keeping the little girls for sex? or am i way off here, i know they kept the virgins, but i assumed they were woman, not children. anyone know if this is the case? if so this is even worse than i first thought.

wow, this facebook thing is one of the most hanus things i've ever come across. as a fader, to have it blasted all over facebook that you joined or in ANY way looked at or are associated with or even have friends in an anti JW group is the single worst thing that can happen to you. my god im sick for you guys that had your idenity compromised like that. that instance hurts aawa's credibility badly, but what destroys it entirely is that response, the response is 100% unacceptable. im glad barbara got out, and i hope the others do the same. i mean is there a worst thing a organization that claims to be anti jw can do than out faders? im beside myself.

Someone in here is a mole
by focariedu21 inhy guys the other day my wife had a discussion with her jws brother and he told her that he received all posted material from this site posted by myself and was disgusted with the information.
now that's all fine by me but what i am pissed about is that some one in here from sydney australia is a mole and pretends to be an ex jws while all the while exposing each and every one he knows as in my case.
you are one big coward and one who hides behind a skirt a yellow and a chicken shit whom doesn't have the balls to face me in person because you obviously know who i am.

wow, before calling out a mod, you need to at least point to a specific instance of unnacceptable actions. and locking a thread is not one. are there threads that get locked that i disgreed with the reasons? yes, i personally dont like thread locking. but that is my opinion and im sure as hell not going to cast aspersions on a mod who locks a thread just because i share a different opinion. also there is no rule that a person must be a former jw, having a family member who is a JW is more than enough, hell, you could be one of those christians who were never a JW, but are on a mission to save them, and that would be fine if they were a mod. i fail to grasp the connection between a moderator here and someone ratting you out. anyway, i think you need to chill and take a step back and check yourself. calling out people who have contributed 1000000X more than you on this forum for more than a decade for what is at best nit picking about locking is not too cool.

during a bookstudy this elders wife was going off about how she hated the worldly children that came into her store and that she wanted to kill them, but couldnt as waiting on God is the right thing to do. I sat there stunned, but then was more stunned at the fact that all the other people were agreeing with her. Jw's are insane.
