i've been watching the new dvd and it is a bull fest about russell.

i haven't even gotten half way and they already excluded one very important bit of information.

you'll recall that russell "lost" his faith and "turning away from church creeds and searching for truth, russell examined some leading oriental religions, only to find these unsatisfying".

one year sober.

got bombed today.

really upset at myself.

I have had problems with addiction, falling off the wagon happens, dont be too hard on yourself. A year sober is a great acomplishment, in fact I dont know of anyone that has beaten addiction and not messed up a few times.

Keep your head up and dont give up.

so yesterday i end up having a nice evening with old friends who used to be in my congregation years ago.

i always loved this family, and thought we were pretty close.

what was meant to be a 'drop by - say hi' ended up being a 3hr visit!!

yeah, i can attest to people getting in trouble for helping sick DF'd people, even if they are family members. Council/threats have been given for buying groceries for a DF'd person with cancer.

in my opinion they are slowly doing away with the "family buisness" clause, and are moving to a 100% shunning policy, regardless of anything.

i mean, to threaten to DF someone because they buy groceries for their DF'd mother with cancer is satantic.

im glad though, because sick shit like that is helping more and more people realize that this is not a religion, its a cult. maybe it used to be a high control religion, but not anymore. its a full blown cult.

after being inactive for 3 years an elder from my old congo request me as a friend and never tries to get me to come back to the hall.

i don't want to return but i at least want t be asked.

after perusing through this article sent to us by our lurking jw friend- that's what i took away from this study article entitled " what jehovah's day will reveal " .

this article was printed to keep jw's alert to the alleged urgency of the times - just in case some get puzzled by the new extended overlapping generation theory and lose their sense of urgency.

i think the wt society is covering their backside here , doing possible damage control , and are very nervous about negative fallout in regards to how some jw's may respond to this extended " overlapping generation " theory being pushed.

yeah, and make sure to check that official JW ID because you wouldnt want a fake JW to pick up your meds at CVS for grandma. I cannot stress how important it is to check that ID because JW's are such stand up people, you wouldnt want a fake JW to pick up your children from school, they could be pedophiles. Oh wait...some card carrying JW's are pedophiles. My fault. And, im sure there will be no problem finding "2 witnesses" to vouch for the pedophile and tell you its safe for them to be with your kids, while they are hiding the fact that they are child rapist.And as another bonus, you will have piece of mind knowing that if your child gets injured while in their care, they will make sure that your child who doesnt know Jehovah from cookie monster will sacrifice his life at the alter of the watchtower and not accept any of that forbidden blood.

Yes, Jehovah's witnesses are so special, I am so glad to have public servants like that in my neighborhood.

Where can I find out more about this loving god Jehovah who has an organization that protects pedophiles, condones the rape and torture of children, and forces men women and children to make human sacrifices out of themselves rather than take blood?
