i am honestly suprised at how fast the watchtower is going from zero to crazy. this is the craziest article to date. this watchtower pulls no punches and is possibly the clearest one i have ever read. the good thing is, its clear from this article that apostates are a HUGE problem, and so are people choosing family are WTS cult leaders IE Jehovah. lets be honest, the governing body is Jehovah.

avoiding false teachers means "refusing to read their literature, watch tv programs that feature them, examine their web sites, or add comments to their blogs.

good, he just slit his throat for all to see. no one but a cult member or crazy fundy would view his writing as anything other than disgustingly evil. this is a great example of why there needs to be standards set by the government for all organized religions to follow because clearly they are not capable of self governing as they claim.

I have something that just dawned on me, and it has to do with "diarrhea Mary", I'd like someone to correct me if I am wrong:
"diarrhea Mary" hasnet been on the conference call for weeks, and the one time she happens to come on is when Lil brings on the heat to Johnny?
And then "diarrhea Mary" goes on total shut down mode, tries to take over and states Lil is "attacking" and totally trying to make it seem like Lil is the bad guy. "diarrhea Mary" also proceeds to use JW like damage control tactics with the stuff she says to Lil.
So you mean to tell me that one time the heat is finally on Johnny, "diarrhea Mary" happens to come on the show at THAT EXACT MOMENT after weeks of not being on?
Give me a friggin break! LOL!

if any one book has changed my life, then this one is definitely it.
it's incredible really - two weeks ago i was so confused and disturbed and felt like my whole life had been turned on it's end but that book made such a difference for me.

i cant believe what happened on that call, i am totally disgusted. when publishing cult came out with his videos i posted that i didnt agree with all of it, and i didnt elaborate. what i was referring to was PC basicly referring to the regular's on the call as "nuts". i didnt think it was right to do that, just like I didnt think it was right for Rick to diss the skeptical people on this board about Johnny. However after listening to this call, I am totally on board with Publishing Cult, I would always say I liked Rick and just thought he was misguided, but I cant like Rick after how Lil has been treated and his handling of it. Rick is very much like the watchtower he so despises. And this call was like being back at the friggin kingdom hall. I cannot imagine what that must have been like for Lil to be treated even worse at the church group, which I have not heard, and would like to hear it if its ever put online.
There is also another aspect of this that I think PC has be elluding to, and that is this goes deeper than "Johnny" being fake. I'll leave it at that and let PC handle it.
PC, i hope you go into that rabbit hole and expose every dark corner of it and do it with your usual outstanding video quality.
Who knew you would be doing vidoes on another cult? LOL!

I've been "a proverbial saying and a taunt" for awhile now...
by sd-7 in...amongst both jws and ex-jws, i'm sure.
i'm planning to get back into therapy to deal with my self-esteem issues, and to stay the heck away from emotionally abusive women.
which, given my apparent magnetism to them, logically means all women by extension, as i can't seem to see the train until it's two feet in front of me.

sd-7, i've read everyone of your posts from beginning to end and the first thing i will say is this has turned out so much better than i thought it would. now it may be impossible for you to see that, but from an outside vantage point to see that you have made it out of this without killing yourself and standing up for yourself and seeking therapy is about as good as can be expected.
the most important advice i can give you is go to therapy and support groups. the next year will probably be hard, but eventually you will find yourself.
you did nothing wrong to your wife, NOTHING. again, i know its impossible for you to see it that way, but in time you may realize just how abused YOU were and you did NOTHING wrong and are a great guy.
just the fact that you ended what was a deathly toxic marriage, and are willing to go to treatment is the biggest win i think could have come out of this.
