the call in on ricks site, basily there were 2 segments, one at 7pm with an author, and pc was suposse to face johnny at 10pm. During the 7pm segment there were some prank callers, and Rick basicly blamed JWN and publishingcult, and gay people for the prank calls and threatned to cancel the 10pm segment. At one point almost everyone was blocked from the call including publishingcult, and somehow PC was able to get on. Johnny was a no show, and publishingcult asked Rick very well thought out and direct questions and Rick danced around them and did his best elder impression. At one point Joe Emerson who at first would not allow anyone to talk including PC, then settled down and PC and Joe were actually having a good discussion about homosexuality and the Bible, and then a couple of Ricks regular callers called PC a "stupid f***ot". Of course this was blamed on the prank callers, but the voices were reconizable by previous calls, and I think PC is working on finding out who it was, but im not sure about that. That moment really struck me and im going to post about it later as I have not had time.

If the people defending Rick think its ok to lie, then they have the right to believe that. I dont agree, Rick has been caught in several lies, and therefore his conference call is not a reliable source for truthful information, just like jehovahsjudgement.co.uk run by thirdwitness. if im going to condemn jw apologists who like, then when an x-jw lies, i cannot be a hypocrite and claim its ok for any reason, even if i am anti watchtower like them.

I think its a shame that some people cant discuss an issue like this without the "if you believe in the trinity you are stupid", or "if you dont believe in the trinity you are going to hell".
The Bible is clear that faith in Christ in what is required for salvation, it doesnt say "Faith in Christ, and the docterine of the trinity".
With that all said, it seems clear to me based on my research that the writers of the NT believed Jesus was God or the same nature as God (however you prefer to define it). Now, that still doesnt prove the trinity, nor do I personally believe in the trinity, but im not sure how you can deny that the NT writers believed Jesus was God.(i know some of you do, i respect your right to differ, i just dont get it since they come right out and say it lol)
The other thing, as already pointed out is that the watchtower perverts and distorts what the trinity is, so when I researched the trinity and learned what it is, it was much more plausable and it made sense to me. While I still dont believe it, I understand it, and respect the fact that some people believe it, and it certainly is scriptually plausable, I just simply have not been convinced that a docterine that was clarified hundreds of years later is essential for salvation. Where does that leave all of the Christians before the docterine was clarifed and settled at the councils? They didnt believe in "the trinity" as defined by the council, so it cannot be essential for salvation. And as much as Paul ran his mouth, you cant tell me that he knew this docterine as stated in the council but didnt put it in any of his NT writings.

long before i jumped in to the six screens controversy, i considered doing something like this, and i think i am now ready to begin.
the format will be non-sensationalist, informative, educational, rational, objective, and i want no recognition for myself, and as little attention as possible.

Im pretty sure there has been a crack down on what family buisness is as at the last assembly someone posted that they said that for example taking your DF'd relative to the doctor is NOT family buisness. The new july 15th WT either dumbed or dumber version uses the word RARE, and there was a comment at the annual meeting about it also. I think its only a matter of time before the watchtower DF policy becomes like Scientology's disconnection policy which is zero contact ever no matter what.
