  i never really felt spiritual as a jw.

  i knew that i should feel like a spiritual person, but couldn't work out why i never did.. .

  just strikes me that with all the 'active' dubs, still giving talks, attending assemblies; they must be looking at everyone with total suspision!.

  Golden Compass Movie, to be avoided?

  i had a chance to be with a group of jw's yesterday.

  my wife thinks she overheard a couple of them talking about an announcement from the platform about avoiding the "golden compass" movie coming out.

  i know that other religious groups have spoken out against this film, but i would not have expected the witnesses to announce that formally.

  as president of the women's relief society, she began telling women that they would be approached by church leadership to become plural wives.

  joseph's brother samuel (also one of the 12 apostles) was one of them.
