  The Mormons would not let me speak at my Dad's funeral

  --because i no longer nelieve.

  i was excommunicated for "apostasy".

  that was their rationale for not allowing me to speak at his funeral last month.

  dear god,.

  i don't know if you are watching or not.

  but a lot has happened down here since you let your son be tortured to death.. we can print new hearts and grow new organs.. we can clone ourselves.. we can make 3 parent babies.. we are successfully integrating computers with our nervous system right now.. is it ok if we merge with computers?

  on exmo sites, we have done polls.

  people who leave the lds cult lean heavily to the introverted side.

  i suspect many extroverts have too much to lose socially to allow themselves to think.

  big love will be showing some of the iiner workings of mormon temple rituals this sunday.

  it could freak a lot of people out.

  i wanted to write and tell how/why people would do something so wierd.. there have been several huge changes to the temple ceremony.

  the mormon web is alive with people protesting this next weeks episode that will be showing secret mormon temple rites.

  hbo is being inundated with my self righteous and deluded former church friends.

  damn... i gotta get hbo.. i wonder which version they'll do.

  the throat and intestine spilling oaths or the more sanitized ones they have been using since 1990. they can't show the whole endowment ceremony in one episode.

  jehovah's witness propaganda was always portrayed as the equivalent of spiritual pornography, especially when i was an lds missionary.

  Rites of Passage -Ex JW style

  i have a son turning 8 in 3 months, which is the baptismal age in the mormon church.

  we have all kinds of family and local pressure to have our kid dunked.

  my son knows the lds church is full of it, but i think part of him is missing the ceremony, the attention-- the rite of passage.

  Former Mormon has a question about the JW cult

  i have been reading a bit on other cults.

  jim jones, david koresh, warren jeffs, sun myung moon etc.

  i see a lot of similarity between these cult leaders and my lds cult leaders (joseph's myth, bring' em young, etc) all the aforementioned cult leaders had sexual issues.
