Thanks for the feedback. jwfacts, that sounds right. I remember as a kid, hearing from the platform how many thousands in the US were df'd each year. Of course, they were telling us like it was a warning but I used to wonder what the total was every year. And that wasn't counting those that left willingly...

by JH inwhen you gather with the same people for decades, they get to know you inside out.
they know where you work, have a good idea how much money you earn, know if you have sex or not, know your personal tastes, know where you go on vacations and so on..... were there things you were able to keep them from knowing?.

Well, the first time I went to the Shakey Nuts, my friend from work to me. It was a birthday surprise. And after that I found it was a fun way to be wild for the night, blow off steam. But it would be funny sitting at the meeting and a part of the show would replay in my head. I just smiled to myself. People probably thought, "oh, she's so happy to be here."

Well, he'll be interested in knowing that I went to male strip shows for my birthdays after the age of 21, attended X-mas parties, had sex with more than the two he had heard about, and secretly fantasized about him. Ok, the last one was a lie. I fantasized about his wife instead!

they say it's important that we fill out this form about emergencies... poor fools.
"hi, i have been meaning to tell you that the society is telling us to fill out an emergency form that the book study conductors have and return it to them in case of an emergency.they will then give us a brochure to have that will tell us where to meet and what to have in our bags so we can grab them and leave in a hurry.

Well, I say if you really care about your families do prepare for emergencies. But relying on the congregation to help you? I know some who would gladly run right past me and not think to help. So be it!
