i was a full time preacher who else did ?
by mattbetrayed ini did the full time min from school even though i could have gone to drama school.what a wast of my time and life!!!!!!!!!!!!
!iam happy to say that i came to my senses and went back to school and became a nurse,very happy i did my wife is still a jw but she stopped the pioing and she to became a nurse.. i will make sure my kids dont get temped to be encouraged to do that wast of time.as the wife still goes,and my mom and dad and sisters still go.. anyway would love to know what others who were pioneers felt of it and what doing now,please tell..

I forgot who mentioned the writing of your excuse on the slip but that brought back memories! I used to hate that but I kept on pioneering from 18 to my early 20's. I wish I had kept the job I had when I first started. My boss offered me a position with more hours and you know I thought that was Satan trying to hinder me. The hours I did work barely kept gas in my car and my parents helped me with my car insurance. Oh, I regret that. I should have been caring for myself completely. I know parents help their children if needed but I could've been helping them out financially! I also passed up another job a couple years later because I couldn't figure in meeting my pioneer hours. An old classmate scooped up the position and it worked well for them. I remember seeing them buy their first place while we were in our 20's. I was jealous but I thought soon the end will come, my former classmate won't survive, and I will have a house anyway. It's sick now when I think of it. Funny, that dub way of thinking...

once we allow ourselves to think, it is clear as day that there is no real basis for anyone to take the title of faithful and discreet slave.
there are folders and lists which contain the names of pedophiles who were never turned over to the proper authorities for their crimes.

So sad...I know it can happen, our children are so fast that I don't always see where they dashed off to. I have to always show extra caution in my development too. We have a couple of young girls on our street that are always out playing. My thoughts are with your friend's family.

she was worldly but being a good witness that i was i picked up the yellow pages to find the location of the local kingdom hall.
well, i found it but i also found a listing for "jehovah's christian witnesses".

Myspace is bad
by JimmyPage insomeone told my wife that the myspace site is bad.
they said it will be brought out more in the upcoming assemblies.
a lot of dubs have gotten themselves in trouble on the site.

Years ago for those of us raised as dubs, our parents could better control who we associated with. Now, it is harder for parents to know if their kids are close to "worldly" kids or not. And yeah, on myspace someone could pose as a dub or be what they like call "apostate" It is freaking people out because they can't control what their future lil pioneer kids are exposed to. I also think of the number of people starting to date outside of the witness religion too. They can't stop it but they'll sure as hell try!

it's amazing how they teach you that only jws can be your real friends, but in reality, it's all contingent upon your religious "performance.
